|  Shooting Gallery -- June Theme Theme: Wild Life Got this idea from Anchorage, AK's "Big Wild Life" (the city's tourism catch phrase. I think it's lame but whatever). It doesn't just mean wildlife (aka animals/life in the wild) but the wildness one finds in their own life on their own time on their own terms. So show off your Big Wild Life this month! and to remind everyone of the "rules": 1. Pictures must be shot in the month that the "mission" is given. 2. All camera types and photogs welcome from the uber pro to the n00b! 3. Submissions can come whenever in the month, and you can go back and reshoot if you so desire. 4. Interpretation is open. You aren't going to be stuck in a box... photography is one of those fun little ways that you can think outside a box while looking through a box!  5. HAVE FUN

| Thanks  There happens to be a field about a quarter mile from where we live that is infested with prairie dogs. Well, my mother in law was in town over the last week in May into June, and we went by there on her last day in town because she wanted to take some pictures of the prairie dogs. I happened to have my camera with me (as I always do  ) and caught these three together

| From our June Disney Trip We stayed at AKV -- Kidani Village earlier this month so this was an easy theme for me this time. I had so much fun going out to the balcony each morning and late afternoon to see who was there to photograph.  Luke took this one as we were waiting to board a Friendship boat from DHS to BC, and I'm so proud of it. He wanted to use the new camera and ended up taking more pictures this vacation than I did.    I took these of my favorite wild life, the giraffe. These were taken outside our balcony in Kidani Village. In the last you can see, he has a palm frond in his mouth.  I really grew to love these Blesbok, too, that were typically outside our balcony.
