| Shooting Gallery -- July Theme Theme: Pride & Victory With Canada Day and the 4th of July early in the month there's a sense of country pride in N. America these days... however the theme is not just based on that. Pride comes in many forms from the not so groovy, to the look a parent gives to a child for a job well done... Victory brings the very best sense of pride. So go out there and show us what you've got. You can also be PROUD that you enter these month's theme... so the possibilities are endless! and to remind everyone of the "rules": 1. Pictures must be shot in the month that the "mission" is given. 2. All camera types and photogs welcome from the uber pro to the n00b! 3. Submissions can come whenever in the month, and you can go back and reshoot if you so desire. 4. Interpretation is open. You aren't going to be stuck in a box... photography is one of those fun little ways that you can think outside a box while looking through a box!  5. HAVE FUN

| Victory Garden: noun a vegetable garden, esp. a home garden, planted to increase food production during a war. For this month's theme, I knew what I wanted to post photos of! DH and I are PROUD to present our very own little Victory Garden:  I love how the light dances off the sprinkler water!  The garden from one end...we have corn, tomatoes, peas, zucchini, broccoli, and Walla Walla Sweet onions.  Our berry patch. Those are red and yellow raspberries at the far end, and the "sticks" at this end are black berries we transplanted from my dear father-in-law's home after he passed away last year. The black berries grow to be quite large, and we all affectionately call them "Poppa Berries" in honor of FIL. There are a few strawberries growing next to the black berries as well.  Peaches on our peach tree  Plums on our plum tree.

| Tubing.... with Jets!  Not the best pic, but while we were out tubing yesterday, jets kept flying overhead. We have been watching them for 9+ years now, but they are still awe inspiring!
