|  Shooting Gallery -- August Theme Theme: Flight Let's see what you all come up with... not going to give an inspiring story, or any ideas... get out there and really capture FLIGHT. and to remind everyone of the "rules": 1. Pictures must be shot in the month that the "mission" is given. 2. All camera types and photogs welcome from the uber pro to the n00b! 3. Submissions can come whenever in the month, and you can go back and reshoot if you so desire. 4. Interpretation is open. You aren't going to be stuck in a box... photography is one of those fun little ways that you can think outside a box while looking through a box!  5. HAVE FUN

| I have a perfect "Flight" submission. Did anyone go out at night last week to try and see one of the Perseids Meteors? It was cloudy all week here at night and I only saw 2  So I set up the video camera and just let it record until it filled up a tape and shut itself off for 2 nights. After reviewing several hours of disappointing video I caught one!!!!  Here is the video. Its not a very good video and you need to watch the top middle of the video My Only Perseids Meteor Capture

| Hey I saw it! Too bad you didn't catch that really bright one I saw - looked to be FLAMING across the sky when you were inside getting the video camera.

| Geeze--I don't know. If only monkeys could fly. Wait a minute I have an idea. Actually I am going to take a cheap camera to San Francisco International Airport and photograph different take offs and landings. And then maybe photograph a few female flight attendants. Well I do have my priorities.
