| Question on resizing and printing ![]() I am trying to make a scrapbook for my DS and my future DDiL using their pictures. The pictures I need are all uploaded to the Picasa website, but they have all been resized to roughly 144 x 100 pixels. I can copy them into a file with no problem, but resizing them makes them blurry! I sent a bunch off to CVS a few weeks ago to print but they all came back blurry. I can order prints off the Picasa site through Snapfish, but I am afraid I am going to have the same issue. And if I print them at home as is, they will be too small. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! ![]()

| Anytime you try to make a photo larger, it gets fuzzy and blurred, well, almost everytime... You'll need to get with them and get copies of the originals. I'm not sure if they give you their username and password and you log on as them if you'll be able to download anything larger. I'm thinking if you order from Picassa, you'll get better quality, they probably have the full size pics to print from, but they're a little more expensive than most sites... Have them burn them all to a CD/DVD and mail them to you so you can get what you want...

| I can't get the originals because it's supposed to be a surprise. Maybe I'll just make a really small scrapbook. ![]() Seriously, Picasa outsources their pictures to Snapfish, Shutterfly, Walgreens and one other. So I don't think I'd be any better off there. I will try the DVD/CD thing though! I wish they had downloaded then just a bit larger! Oh well, maybe I will look into a digital scrapbook, with smaller images.

| can you lie and say you want to print a couple for yourself and you want a disk so that they don't have to find and print them out (and spend the money) themselves?

| I use snapfish for some of my prints and during the order process there's a window that sometimes gives me a choice of sizes (regular 4 x 6 or a slightly smaller version) due to having edited a print. I forget what they call it but when I've chosen that size, the prints look fine and nothing is cropped out. I wonder if this size would help with your issue.

| Bill gave me a few ideas, but I might try a few prints with Snapfish and see what happens. Unfortunately, I don't think I could get away with making it up about the prints. They have about 20 albums uploaded to the site and I need like three pictures from each album. Welcome to my life, nothing is ever simple. Thanks for all the advice...I will let you know what happens!
