|  Shooting Gallery -- October 2009 Theme! Theme: WILDCARD! Congratulations to all who have participated! We've made it a full year with the game!!!! How exciting! So, in honor of this achievement we're going to d a sort of WILD CARD... you can choose from as many themes as you want to showcase (making sure to identify it in your post.) The themes you can choose from? Any from the last twelve months! Here's the list of themes we've gone through. 01. Oct. 2008 - Changing of the Seasons 02. Nov. 2008 - Tradition 03. Dec. 2008 - Light 04. Jan. 2009 - Celebration 05. Feb. 2009 - Passion 06. Mar. 2009 - ok so we didn't do one, whoops! 07. Apr. 2009 - Spring 08. May 2009 - New Beginnings 09. June 2009 - Wild Life 10. July 2009 - Pride & Victory 11. Aug. 2009 - Flight 12. Sept. 2009 - Rain Bonus (since we missed a month! whoops!) - ORANGE *if you want to really challenge yourself you can do photos for each theme * or you can take a look at the past themes that you participated in and see if you can duplicate the photo you took and see if your photography has improved and to remind everyone of the "rules": 1. Pictures must be shot in the month that the "mission" is given. 2. All camera types and photogs welcome from the uber pro to the n00b! 3. Submissions can come whenever in the month, and you can go back and reshoot if you so desire. 4. Interpretation is open. You aren't going to be stuck in a box... photography is one of those fun little ways that you can think outside a box while looking through a box!  5. HAVE FUN Have fun and get out and CELEBRATE!

| Ooooh! I am sure I can take more throughout the month, but here's one to start: ORANGE . . . . . .  I took this one on Thursday night while my favorite band, Muse, was on stage in Charlottesville, VA . . . the lights were bright orange, though the way they came out in the photo made them look more red orange.

| Ooh! Cool theme!! I am going to print out all the categories and post them so I can work on them. I've enjoyed going back and looking at past months. Great pictures to inspire me. And I found May - the theme was "New Beginnings". Great orange picture, Sarah!!

| It rained all day here today, but it wasn't the rain I got a picture of. It was the sky after the rain at sunset. My contribution to Orange:
