anyone ever use one at WDW? My flip camera died so looking at getting a GoPro since I can use it on my car. I like videoing while on rides so thought this might work out good.
If anyone has used one do you just hold it or use one of the many mounting options they sell?
I just bought my husband a GOPRO 2 for Christmas. He bought a suction cup mount to attach the camera to his car windshield. We used it yesterday on a drive--just to see what it looks like. Not bad. If you want to charge as you drive, you'll need a skeleton case. We haven't bought one yet. Anyway, we put it on my side of car since he already has GPS mounted on windshield.
We haven't had a chance to use it on hikes or Disney trips yet, but we plan to do it in the future. I've seen people with chest harness, which seems best for Disney or hiking. There are tons of mounts available.
When we were at F&WF, some guy had one on a hat he was wearing. Don't have any idea how he mounted it but he was definitely drunk and obviously recording people (women) that he was asking to sign his shirt.
We used our Gopro at WDW. It was awesome. My husband used a variety of things. On some roller coasters he used the head attachment that was amazing and other times he just held it in his hand. I highly recommend using at Disney!!!!
Well went to the store to buy one and somehow I ended up buying a Ipad for the wife
Me and DD have one and I know she would use it more at home and while traveling So thought I would be a good Husband.
So will wait a few weeks to get one. The rides should be nothing for the Gopro to handle. Have friends that use them on their Dragbikes that run 7 sec. at 200+ MPH in the 1/4 mile and no one has ever lost one. and videos are great quality
