| I don't have kids just so I can afford to go to WDW and do it the way I want to do it Anyway, it's just me and DH when we go and we love it. We are able to enjoy the fun of acting like a kid while also enjoying the peaceful, restful, moments (such as a nice stroll around the WS sampling beverages around the world hand in hand ....awww... I can't wait to go back!!)

| DH and I do not have children, and we go to WDW all the time, and love it. On our upcoming trip, we are going down with DH's neice and nephew and their families, so it will be fun for DH to se it through the eyes of a child. I have gone with my friends and their children before.

| With the kids , with out the kids. I love trips to Disney. People I work with know I am a Disney person. Someone else who works in my Building is too. He wears a Disney tie every day. He & his wife go... no kids like 3 times a year. well now that you mention it so do I. I am thinking of broading my horizons and taking a trip or two to Disneyland :-) MY feeling is the more that shy away for thinking its a place for kids, the more room for me.

| My DH & I have been to WDW three times without our kids (once was for our honeymoon but we already had DD#1 but we left her home I love our trips with the kids (and other extended family who usually winds up joining us) but I love our adults only trips almost as much. We do so many things when we go alone that we can't/won't do when we have the kids with us like walk around WS drinking cocktails and checking out the stores which would completely bore the kids or spending most of a day at MGM going on TOT & RNRC over and over

![]() We actually just had this discussion last night when we were talking about my upcoming Disneyland trip. I told her that there were a bunch of people going and she asked if any had kids they were bringing and when I told her it was adults only, save for my daughter, she said "Why would anybody go to a place like that and leave their kids at home?" She doesn't get it . . . I told her that if DH was able to stay at home for the time I was going or if we could find after school care for DD quickly, I would be leaving her at home . . . she told me she was shaking her head at me. ![]() The first time I ever went to WDW was as an adult (I was 19) and went quite a few times before DD was born in '01 . . . it's as much a place for adults to go and have fun as it is for kids, IMHO!

| DH and I LOVE going alone. In fact, we love it so much that we left Josh at 10 months old to take an adults only trip. This summer we will be taking our very first trip as a family. I'm really nervous about it...DH and I are so used to being able to do what we want...its going to be hard having to slow things down for Josh. I'm sure we will love it though! My friends are constantly asking why we would want to go so much since its a "kiddie" place. I think that couldn't be further from the truth. Of course there are tons of things for kids and families to enjoy, but there are so many hidden and amazing things for adults!

| Me too! My hubby and I don't have kids yet (still enjoying being a married couple you see) and we've been to WDW three times now and going back in November (hopefully - as I'm still unemployed). The last trip we went on we saw many many couples without children. It's becoming a destination vacation place for everyone. |

| This will be our first trip to WDW, and it's just DH and me. DL is a different story; we go about once a year, and almost always just the two of us (but two of my kids are grown now, 20 and 23). We did take DS15 last Spring Break and that was fun, he's a great kid, but we love Disney by ourselves as a couple. DL seems to be a little different for grownups than WDW, though. No place in DL sells alcohol, except Club 33, and I'm not a member! The only one in DL park is Blue Bayou. There are some nicer restaurants at the hotels, like Hook's Pointe at the DL Hotel, or Napa Rose at the Grand Californian. The addition of DCA added the Wine Country Trattoria and a place or two to have a beer or a glass of wine. And DTD has some fun places for adults like House of Blues and Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen. But all in all, it looks like WDW has a lot more for "just grownups" to do without kids...even so, we go kid-less to DL all the time! But of course, I collect autographs and Tink pins, eat breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen, and ride the Peter Pan ride, so I'm just a big kid anyway |

| We usually do at least one kid trip and one grownup trip per year. Both are a lot of fun, but very different. When we take our son, our schedule is much more structured so that we can see and do as much as possible. On the other hand, the grownup trip is very laid back. We do plan a few nice dinners in advance, but other than that we really just go with the flow!
