| I've been to Disney a million times....or at least it seems. I've always gone with my family when I was a child or with my own kids, in other words....never without children!! That's all about to change. The hubby asked where I wanted to spend my 30th birthday and of course my answer was Disney! We just booked our reservations but I'm unsure what to do without kids! Does anyone have any "don't miss" suggestions for adults only?? |

| Welcome to the boards and congratulations on celebrating your birthday in Disney! Disney without kids is certainly different but a wonderful way to experience things that either your kids wouldn't like, like grown-up restaurants, or things they're not old enough for like behind-the-scenes tours. Have you ever been to Pleasure Island at night? Gone to any of the nightclubs or Adventurer's Club? Plenty of grown-up things to do and a wonderful way to see other sides to Disney. You can eat late at night, sleep in the next morning. Take time to explore areas where you would normally race by. Visit other resorts and just take time to be together. Some favorites of mine are the Segway tours (how cool to zip around Epcot on a Segway!), any backstage tour (favorites are Epcot Futureworld and MK), dinner and fireworks at California Grill (along with a glass of terrific Riesling!), renting water mice boats and racing across Seven Seas Lagoon, and a couples-massage at Grand Floridian Spa. Have fun planning!

| Things we enjoy include meals at some of the nice restaurants (Artist Point, California Grill etc.), La Nouba and nights out at Pleasure Island.

| What about an adults only behind the scene's tour - like Keys to the Kingdom or the Behind the Scenes at Animal Kingdom?? AND having champagne and strawberries delivered to your room on night (if you are staying at a Deluxe resort).

| My sister is going to the WDW for her honeymoon in June, and I've been helping her plan. I suggest staying at a Deluxe resort, where it can be more sophisticated, still with your favorite Disney touch. If your resort has a spa, try that. Also, be sure to go to Pleasure Island. Another suggestion: go to the water parks. They're fun and has some slides adults will like, like summit plumit. If you like body slides, Blizzard Beach. Thrills and tube rides, Typhoon Lagoon. EPCOT is a good park to visit. Go wine tasting, or get some beer at Germany. Le Cellier and San Angel Inn are very romantic.
