| Need some ideas Me and my DH, 3 kids, Sister and Parents are traveling to WDW in Sept/Oct 2008. We are celebrating our 8th anniversary while their and needed some pointers for us all (kids included) to celebrate. We are eating at the castle in the morning of but was looking for ideas for the evening. We want to celebrate it with the Family but am uncertain as what to do? Any suggestions? We had thought about a grand gathering but we didnt qualify (youngest will be under 2) so he techincally doesnt count toward the 8. Figured we would exclude a fancy dinner since we would be eating Breakfast in the castle.

| You could go to see La Nouba (I'd highly recommend the show). You could try to book a fireworks cruise (either Wishes or IllumiNations). You can book the cruises at 90 days out.

| How elaborate do you want to go? You for sure want to do something with all of you? You could maybe have your parent with the kids while you and DH have a special dinner. I'm with Marnie, LaNouba or a fireworks cruise would be great fun for everyone. You can do little things throughout the day like having you and DH's photos taken together at each attraction you visit, etc. Be sure to get the anniversary buttons and let your server know you are celebrating your anniversary. We will be celebrating 10 years in August while on our family trip. We're planning on booking a sitter for the kids that evening and DH & I having a lovely dinner at the Rose & Crown and catching Illuminations (one of our faves). Whatever you do, you will have a wonderful time and make lots of memories.

Yeah we are pretty sure we want to do it together. We are pretty used to making sacrifices when it comes to celebrations. Not to mention we live in TX, sis in CO and my parents in MO so we never get to do celebrations together so it is a memory I want to create for my children. I needed something low key due to my parents health. Mother is in Wheelchair and my Dad just recovered from a severe health crisis (Thank god proving everyone wrong) That fireworks cruise sounds pretty good. Do you know if they have the music on board or do you jusdt get a good view?

| Kelly, check out Beyond the Parks for info on the cruises. (It's a tad down the page). A PP member shared her experience in the newsletter too: PassPorter.com -- Epcot's IllumiNations Cruises: A Truly Remarkable Experience I've done two Illuminations cruises and both were fantastic! I love the vantage point and it feels so much closer to be on the water. The prices are on the higher side, but it is something to remember.
