| Anything Else I Can Do? Okay, so I wrote most of my plans in my pre-trip report, but I'm going away alone with my DGF for the first time in March. I have a Cali Grille dinner during Wishes and La Nouba tickets. We're theme parkers almost exclusively, so almost all our time will be in parks. Is there anything else I can do for any special moments for her? Especially cost effective things. I'm a broke college aged kid who is change collecting to get on this trip :-) I love her so much though and want it to be perfect.

| Awwww, how sweet!! Some ideas that won't break the bank: How about a romantic carriage ride around Port Orleans French Quarter? (Subject to availability of course!) How about the Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian? (Not so romantic, but very special!) How about a nice, quiet walk along Bay Lake, (the lake outside of the MK) looking at all of the bricks that special couples as well as families have purchased, out of love for WDW? Kinda corny, but very sentimental.... How about sitting outside of the House of Blues, on the Verandah, for a cocktail, after Cirque, when the free entertainment starts; it's a nice place to sit! Just some thoughts...

| Thanks a lot! My family actually has one of those bricks out there on the way towards the Contemporary. I never remember its exact location. I gotta figure it out. My father and stepmother bought it for our family during their honeymoon in 95

| Plan to spend a lot of time at Epcot, walking around World Showcase, visiting the different countries, watching the entertainers, perhaps having a snack or a drink - that's a really romantic place to me.

| There are loads of inexpensive/free things you can do - here are a few suggestions: 1. Stroll the grounds of the Polynesian and watch Wishes from the beach; 2. Stroll the grounds of the Wilderness Lodge and watch the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach or dock; 3. In Epcot, watch the Beatles tribute band in the United Kingdom gardens. This is a nice secluded spot to share a snack or a drink too! 4. Buy a glass of champagne in France before watching Illuminations, then let the crowds escape so you can enjoy the park atmosphere - walk through the rose gardens on your way out of the park; 5. I know it sounds corny, but in the Studios, hold her hand while watching Beauty and the Beast - you can't beat the fairy-tale magic of the story; 6. In Animal Kingdom, have lunch at Flame Tree BBQ, there's a quiet seating area where you almost forget where you are! Most importantly - enjoy the park, but for the added "romance" don't overlook the simple things, and stop to appreciate the beauty and fantasy the parks surround you with. If you have the right mindset, everything can seem magical - DH and I spent our honeymoon at WDW, and even little things like sharing an ice cream sundae seemed special, because it was our first "couple" trip to the World. |

| From a guy I think Meeko's right on the "money". Probably sunggled up in a hammock or something like it and watch the Wishes fireworks and talk about your wishes for your future. Flowers when she doesn't expect them would be good. What would you do (that you know she likes) when you're not in WDW? Even if you do that, the suprise and the fact you are in WDW should be fun. I, for one, are very impressed that you would be thinking this way. It is nice to see that young folks believe in romance, too! I hope you have a great time!

| Well you've done all the right things! (Make sure you budget for at least a glass of champagne during the CG wishes fireworks) Take the hayride at FW! Be the only adults making smores at the FW Movie showing! Listen to the piano player at the GF. Share a Lapu Lapu at the Poly. Sit on the beach at the Poly and watch the Electric Light Parade. There are so many inexpensive things to do--I have a whole list PM me if you want it--i need some time to hunt it up!

| DITTO on all the above. We are going for our anniversary in May and don't have a whole lot of money either. Do all the little things like walking hand in hand on the beach or in the dark movie rides. Maybe you could splurch on flowers the first or last day, EVERY woman likes that.

| It partially depends on what your DGF likes, but... ...I think one of the most romantic things you can do at Disney is to plan a beach view of fireworks (Poly??), buy one of the blown-glass slippers at Arribas' bros. crystal (about $40), and present it to her on the beach. To me, receiving a glass slipper on the edge of the water from the man I love and being told I'm his princess...dangit, it doesn't get more romantic. Heck, you could even do it at the California Grill.

LOL. Sure thing. I'm always the one who writes the love letters for everyone else to give to their significant others. I'm actually getting sick of the "aww he's so cute" label. :-) Thank you so much for ideas everybody. They're fantastic. I hate that I'm such a commando that I will definitely end up missing a few of these things because we "need" to be in the parks. On our next trip together when I'm on property and on the DDP and she's seen everything at the parks at least once from this trip, I can go the nice and relaxed atmosphere with all the nice little Disney-fied things around the "World" Thank you everybody. I'm so glad that you have accepted me into your community.
