| favors We are having our wedding (as I'm sure you've heard) at WDW on March 17th. I need some ideas for favors. We have thought of lots of stuff, but one, most people are travelling via plane, so they won't be able to take much home. Two, some people are staying only one day (so that eliminated baskets with snacks and stuff in them for park use. And three, some people aren't even going to the parks (can you imagine?) so Disney money wouldn't work. Any suggestions? We also thought of sending something after the wedding--any ideas? THANK YOU!

| We did Christmas ornaments... (we got married while on a cruise). They are lightweight and easy to transport! I'm sure you could do something really cool and Mickey themed!

| Maybe WDW snowglobes that you can send to them with your thank-yous? You can't take those in a carry-on anyway, I think. That would be nice, and fair to everyone.

| I can't remember how far in advance you will be there before the wedding, Geri. You could always buy some Disney chocolates/candy while there and make them up in tulle, etc. Have you contacted your wedding planner for some ideas on what Disney can provide. I know it's $, but I've seen some lovely favors by them. What about a Disney antenna topper or something? But since you seem to have some non-Disney people, I'd maybe stick with chocolate/candy, etc rather than Disney themed merchandise. Good luck!

| My daughter is getting married in September and they're giving out glass slipper keychains as wedding favors in honor of the way Corey proposed to Kendra at WDW. Leastwise, they're using the glass slipper ones for all the female guests while all the guys, in their case, are going to get hockey stick ones since Corey is a hockey coach but that could always be changed into something Disney-oriented such as Mickey or castle key chains, etc. Joy

| Joy, that's a cute idea! I'm going to hunt and see what I can get. I'm getting close to the date at this point, though!

| You might want to go to Michael's and look for cute candy holders. My sister's getting married in April with a "Good Fortune" theme, so we're doing little chinese take out boxes, tied with ribbons in her wedding colors, and putting a couple of fortune cookies in each one. Maybe you could get something stackable like that and then put in the gold coins that are sold everywhere (at Disneyland at least) for St. Patrick's Day? You've probably already seen this, but we also had great luck with Weddingstar. Here's the link... Weddingstar - Wedding Accessories - Cake Toppers - Wedding Favors You could probably get them to deliver directly to your hotel, and things seemed to come VERY quickly when we ordered. My sister lives overseas, so I've gotten to live out my dream of being a wedding coordinator!

| Not exactly a wedding but we are having DS Bar Mitzvah at WDW right before your wedding! I found these great Disney Mints and put them in personalized favor tins. Additionally, I got all the kids t-shirts, on sale, at the Disney store. Here is the candy link, if you are interested.... Disney Mints: 5LB Bag Good luck! danielle

| I decided two things. First, I am going to pick out some frames--probably non-Disney, just a classic frame that would go in anyone's decor and frame a photo of each guest doing something from the trip--either in the parks or at the wedding. Second, at the actual wedding, we are going to give out scratch off lottery tickets with a little tag attached that says, "hope you are as lucky as we are today!" Ties in with the St. Patty's Day theme. We're going to give between 5-10 to each person, and we got some really cute St. Patty's Day ribbon to tie them up in a cute presentation. Funny, I keep saying "we," when in reality, my fiancee just goes along with whatever! Men just aren't into the planning of the weddings, are they?

| I thought of that (about the tickets)! You can actually mail them in from other states to collect as lots of people play the Florida lottery while vacationing, but they don't live there. So, I'm safe! And we are going to be there awhile, so if anyone wins we can change the tickets for them.
