Romantic Disney Idea books?

When we went to Disney for our anniversary in 2005, I poured over pretty much every Disney book I could find. Particularly helpful to us was Passporter's recommendation of a book called Walt Disney World for Couples. I got the 5th edition from the library and it was the 2003 version, and it was soooo helpful with romantic ideas and room recommendations (we got our first choice honeymoon suite at the Grand Floridian and it totally made the trip!!!).

I didn't buy the book then because I figured by the time we'd be taking another big Disney trip there would be another edition. It seems from looking at Amazon that 2003 is the last edition of that particular book, and everything that came up on a WDW and "couple" search didn't exactly scream romance to me from the titles at least. I have checked our local BAM, but they didn't have a huge Disney selection and nothing was obviously full of romantic ideas.

Do you guys mainly use resources like this forum, which admittedly is full of well informed Disney experts? Or is there particular reading material you use in addition to PP, which is bar none my favorite Disney book?

Courtney, I use sites like Passporter to help plan and create fun vacations. I don't recall a more recent copy of that book either unfortunately. Are there certain things you are looking for that we can help with?

The only book I know of is Birnbaum's Disney without Kids which is okay. A lot of the ideas there are pretty $$ intensive for me. Personally, I find more info here on the PassPorter boards, and by Googling +"Disney World" +Romance. I think the romantic ideas at Disney are showing up more on the web than in print these days...

...and, as others have pointed out many times on these boards, don't forget that Disney is an inherently romantic place. There are so many romantic ideas that don't require a special book or a lot of money. My DH presented me with a glass slipper from Disney and told me that I was his princess...we took an early after-breakfast walk across the beach at the Poly that holds a special place in my heart...I cried last Wednesday as, after my DH and I joined Mickey in chanting "dreams can come true," he kissed me and told me he knew that because I was his dream.

Keep dreaming and see the potential in what is offered at WDW, and there is romance at every corner. Good luck!
