| How exciting! I would rather renew my vows at Disney as well I helped my sister in law plan her Disney wedding last year. If I remember correctly the characters are $750 per hour to "rent" and have them come to your wedding. There are about 20 to choose from. Hope that helps!

| Yep, the price bumped a bit this year. And I'm sure it will again by 2010. My SIL just got married at WDW last month. It sure is a dream filled day! Enjoy your planning process!

| I'm getting married at Sea Breeze Pointe at the Boardwalk and am going to have Mickey and Minnie. The thing to keep in mind is they cannot be at your ceremony. They can only be "hired" for your cake cutting/champagne toast or reception. Usually of course this means lots of great pictures! Hope that helps a little bit!

| It may have something to do with not showing bias and support to a certain religion, although I don't really know for sure, just a guess. Anyone can have a party.

| I don't think it's a religous or a non-religous thing, it's probably just a logistic nightmare for the Wedding Planners/Coordinators when you think of it. Anything can happen at a wedding, it's very emotional and it might cause some awkward situations. For instance, some people give a tribute to relatives who have passed...there's usually some crying whether it be for happy or sad reasons.... Realistically, by the time you are partying and cutting the cake, the mood is usually much different. Everyone is ready to party and celebrate etc... I can ask my wedding coordinator sometime in the future and see what I can find out. It seems as though there's a lot of interested peeps...

| Plus, depending on what type of wedding you are doing, things can get long! If I were Mickey and Minnie, I wouldn't want to stand around for an hour waiting on two people to get married. Heck, I don't like to do that when I KNOW the bride and groom.
