| My sister-in-law was just married at Sea Breeze Pointe last month on the Boardwalk. It was beautiful! She just came over with her photos, and the location rocks in the pics. They didn't have any characters. They hosted a dessert reception at Japan later that evening for all of us, and then we all dined at Boma's the next evening together. The dessert reception was AWESOME! Our server, Diego, was absolutely a gem. Your biggest decision off the bat is how many guests will you invite. My SIL had an Escape wedding, but they had lots of opportunity to create the day they wanted yet. Best of luck with the planning!

| Jeff, there were 7 of us guests. With them, a total of 9 people. The escape allows 18 guests, and the bride & groom. You CANNOT go over that amount, that's shared right off the bat. I'm actually working on a trip report of their wedding, so you'll be able to see some of what they did.

| Jeff, I was just married at The Wedding Pavilion at The Grand Floridian. We also did escape, and we had 15 people total, plus us. I also have a trip report up, called Wedded Bliss, which has lots of info about the planning. We like WP because it was indoors, so the weather outside did not affect us. We also liked that it came with an organist AND violinist. And you got to have your reception at Commander's Terrace which was really nice. It is wired for video. I still picked lots of things, but the choices were more limited. For example, you get to pick your cake, but there are only five types of cakes instead of one hundred. And the 5K we paid included most things. It really was a fabulous bargain! I felt like I got to have the wedding of my dreams for next to nothing (compared to what some people pay for weddings and vow renewals. We also did the photo park session, and my pics are listed here (if they are still up), they do expire any day now. It was worth every penny. The only negative was that you could not have over 18 people, and if you have any babies or small kids, they count as one of your guests. There are no "free" ones. If you have even one person show up over that number, you will automatically pay the minimum (different based on what day and location you choose). Including the park session and all the extras the Escape Wedding did not cover--like the minister, the bridesmaids flowers, those sorts of things--we still paid under $10,000. And that was including our travel. I do own DVC, so I did not have to pay for hotel, so that probably saved us a few bucks. If you have any questions, PM me. I am more than happy to answer them. I love talking about my Disney Wedding Experience!

| My DH & I are thinking of doing a vow renewal @ WDW in a few years. Something small and intamate, I think we're talking 12 ppl max. We are wondering what Disney offers, The DVD seems to focus mainly on big weddings and major renewal ceramonies. We want something very small. |

Thank you for posting!! I'm thinking of a vow renewal in 3 years, about the same size as your wedding, and I'm starting to plan. I adored your pictures...the park photo shoot is a definite for us. Thanks for specifying costs. That's encouraging to me. We won't have travel or a large wedding party, so the renewal is looking do-able!

| I have been "planning" our 10 year renewal ceremony in 2010 at Disney for about a year now. On Disney's website there is a place to plan your wedding. I have all my choices picked and saved so I can go back later. It has all the prices, choices, etc. Happy Planning! Great thread! Danielle
