| one night child free There are 7 of us going to WDW this Dec (4 adults and 3 kids). We already have our tenative schedule of what when and where, however we hit a roadbump. The adults all wanted to go out one night (Thur night to be exact) and the plan was to hit the famous Adventure's Club. We have been SO excited to visit this much raved about club. Anyway as most know it is closing in Sept so we will never have the chance to experience the AC We still want to do an "adult night" but I need some ideas. I just never looked for anything else to do. We want to leave the hotel around 7pm and be back around 1am. We were planning to eat dinner with the kids before we left, but that may change. We thought we would maybe do late EMH but there are none that day, and the parks with late EMH on other days do not work with our schedule. Any ideas would be great. It is myself, DH, my sister and her husband so we are not looking for something romantic, we want something fun that is not going to cost a fortune (as KNO already has one of our arms) Thanks again

| I was going to suggest La Nouba... but that's pricey. Will you have car? Eileen

| Thanks for the quick response. No we will not have a car. That also can make a difference being it looks like all parks close early. MVMCP is also going on but I am not sure if that is how we really want to spend our child free night. I am not sure how late the boat goes to DTD but we are staying at POFQ so that is one of our transportation options (maybe) I am assuming that La Nouba is a restaurant I will have to look it up. Why do you recommend it?

| La Nouba is the Cirque de Soleil show at Downtown Disney. It's a terrific show, but can be costly. It's also only 90 minutes long -- but fabulous! The Christmas party is fun -- you can get into the park at 4PM with that ticket, which might save you having to use a ticket that day if you decide to make that your "resting" day and spend time at your resort pool. | Downtown Disney is still a possibility. It's nice to take the boat from POFQ over to Downtown (the boat usually runs until 11:00pm - bus should run until around 1 or 2 (we don't know if they'll change the bus schedules after the Pleasure Island clubs close). There will probably be pub-style entertainers at Raglan Road, and possibly live music at House of Blues and/or Bongos. We hope Disney Quest will still be open. Then, there's always the possibility that there will be a good movie at the AMC Pleasure Island 24. With that, plus shopping (or window shopping) without the kids, you can probably make a fun night out. Another possibility is to head over to BoardWalk to stroll around (there are street performers earlier in the evening) and for Jelly Rolls dueling pianos bar, ESPN Club, and/or Atlantic Dance. If you have park hoppers, you could also start by visiting Epcot for IllumiNations.

| I was going to suggest the Boardwalk as well. Or how about mini golf? Our favorite free thing to do is tour resorts - we like to visit the deluxe resorts and look around. If you go to one of the resorts near Bay Lake you can watch the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach, and maybe see some fireworks from MK. If you're staying at AK, there is lots to there. Sit around the firepit at night and relax, or view the animals at night. Since part of your stay is at POFQ, you can take a walk along the Sassagoula River to PO-R and check out the piano bar there.

| Last trip me, DH and Dsis had a night out sans kids (thanks mom & dad) and we did a little shopping and then ended up at House of Blues. We had some drinks, sat outside, listened to the band & people watched. Oh, then we had more drinks This next trip in Nov. we're hitting La Nouba and may do a resort tour. I'm thinking maybe a drink at each resort we hit? have a great time whatever you choose to do!!

| My recommendation would be eating dinner at a more "adult" restaurant (California Grill, Jiko, Coral Reef, etc.). You can avoid spending a lot of money by just ordering an appetizer!! I love to dress up, so any chance to throw on a cute dress..I will take!

| My husband and I love Jelly Rolls. I am not sure if it is still the way that if you enter before a certain time there is no cover but that was many moons ago. We are meeting up with my sister and her husband at Epcot at 4pm. All the kids will be with grandparents back at the POFQ. We are going to eat at Le Celliers and then stroll around the world showcase just taking in the atmosphere until Illuminations. I can't wait to be able to enjoy one my favorite areas of DIsney children free

| thanks Thanks for all the great ideas!
Caldercup~OK I feel a little .....not very smart smantenuto & Dave Marx~Jellyrolls sounds like a spot that would be PERFECT for us. I will look into it more and get more information. I love the Boardwalk idea...street performers, midway games..does anyone know if this goes late into the night or is it more of a day early evening thing? Shell_of_the_South & notjustamom,~I really love the idea about touring the resorts and maybe trying a drink at each. My question is this...How do you do that with disney transportation. I have never been there before but I am assuming that you can not walk between resorts. I also was under impression that you have to take a bus/monorail ect to a park and then use their transportation to another resort. Not to bad when you want to go to Jiko so you take a bus to AK and then find a bus to AKL, but if I want to go to a bunch of resorts a ride to a park inbetween each sounds like a HUGE time waster not to mention that night parks close at EP 9:30, DS 8, AK 5, but MK does stay open till midnight thanks to MVMCP there will be no way to get to/from park after these times...is there an easier way I do not know about? Laughaholic~ I also love to dress up and a cute summer dress (with a light sweater it is Dec) is definatly going into the bag for this night! It just amazes me how much information I can find here (quick also)

| The Boardwalk area shops etc are open to 11:00PM JellyRolls is open until 2 AM. There ia a $ 10 cover charge. Check out Allearsnet.com Beyond the parks section. It has alot of good info. My husband always tries to request a song that will stump one of the pianist and everytime we are amazed. Have fun!!!

| I have never gone to any of the PI clubs, but I can highly recommend JellyRolls. We got there around opening, and we're sure we did not pay a $10 cover--maybe $5, but this was in 2005. It was fairly quiet for about an hour and really got hopping later in the night. The benefit to us of being there early, is that my husband is an awesome singer and since he was one of the ones who'd sing along and help get the club going, we got almost all our song requests for free!
