If you had a weekend to celebrate....

In 2011, my DH and I will be celebrating our 20th anniversary. I would love to surprise him with a weekend trip. We are big Disney fans and have been there many times and have been on a seven day Disney cruise this year. I am looking for your words of wisdom....would you spend a weekend in WDW or take a three night cruise of the Bahamas? Why?

I am probably biased because cruising is not my 'thing' but I would take a long weekend at WDW and plan some special activites....perhaps a private dining experience or Victoria and Alberts. You could secure one of the boats for a fireworks cruise, enjoy spa treatments, see La Nouba, have afternoon tea at the GF. Good luck planning, what a wonderful achievement to celebrate!

I'd spend it at WDW. The 3-night cruise is too short IMO

I'd spend it in Disney as well. While we loved the three day cruise, I'm with Marnie - it's just too short. No sooner than it starts and you're back again.

I'd spend it at WDW. Splurge on a deluxe resort and enjoy the weekend with a meal at my fave restaurant. Maybe take in La Nouba, etc.

Be sure to mention your anniversary when making your reservations!

I hate cruises, so I am partial to Disney!

I think it would be a lot more fun!

for sure WDW, personally I find cruising that short to be stressful. I agree with everyone else its just too short. A 3 day weekend at a deluxe resort with spa treatments and great dining and theme park rides seem like a great way to celebrate. At least for me

I vote WDW too!!!! My dh and I are going to do that in 2011 too.....it will be our 10 anniversary. Going to book a deluxe resort, eat at V&A, do a spa treatment and enjoy the whole place just the two of us. Last trip we found the walkway between the GF and the Poly....it makes for a wonderful sunset stroll......
