Question SPECIAL DISNEY MAGIC FROM THE RESORTS OR PARKS

For those that have been married or honeymoon at Disney before, Did you receive any special magic or gifts from the resorts, parks or any of the restaurants during your stay? If so, what were the gifts and where did you get them from? Is it worth wearing the Ears and Veil and Just Married Buttons? Just would like to know before I but the ears and veil. Thanks

Dawn

we wane on honeymoon last Oct, i think it just pays to tell everyone you can. we told our CM as we checked in and 20 mins later a bottle of champange and a box of chocholates arrived. we got out just married buttons the next day and got nice congratulations deserts in a few of the resturants we went in. Also lots of the CM's wished us a happy honeymoon and we got the ride all the boat rides by ourselves as a 'love boat' which was also nice.

we didnt get the ears as my hubby has a big head and the hat didnt fit him, but we got loads of attention with just the buttons and it made it realy magical.

hope you have a great honeymoon im sure you will

good luck with everything

We will be wearing our "Honeymoon" pins in about 5 weeks. I sort of doubt that I will wear a hat, also due to size of head. Will let you know the outcome of our trip.

Thanks Gembly for your reply. I hope we get some magic we really need it now.

W-steele, it seems you will be there after us. We will be there from Aug 30 -Sept 9. When are your exact dates? My Dh don't want to wear the hat because he says it is silly but I am going to try to get it on him for at least on picture.

We went for our honeymoon 10 years ago. Our first day we got a big basket with snacks and chocolate, and balloons, our last day there was a box with mickey and minnie wine glasses, the notes were signed from the front desk. We also got lots of free desserts at the ts restaurants we ate at... we didn't have pins back then, and didn't wear ears (although I bought them) but dh kept playing with his ring and everyone noticed-- thought we must be newlyweds!!

Have a great honeymoon!!!

We went on our honeymoon to Disney & we got wine glasses from Cinderella's Royal Table dinner. We also got priority seating at Fantasmic because we bought the ears & veil & wore them around one day!

we had our honeymoon 9 years ago and we stayed at pofq loved it . we rented the surrey bike and rented one of the boats my wife opened her mouth i love her but it is a big one . the did not charge us for either one . and when we came back with the boat we found out about the vail and top hat they were selling them at dixie landings they ( i miss dixie much) let us have the boat till we got back with them .
my wife told everyone but out of everything that was the best things we got for free.

We honeymooned at the WL 10 years ago. We received wine glasses and sparkling cider back then. My SIL was just married at WDW and they recieved a congrats card from Mickey & Minnie. My friend celebrated her anniversary in Feb and they recieved the Mickey card too.

Congrats, and enjoy!

We wanted to wear the bride and groom mouse ears but also wanted the comfort (and shade!) of baseball caps, so we made these:

Free-Dessert magnets

We got a lot of pixie dust, most notably free desserts!

However, I always warn people not to expect anything, because everyone gets a different kind and amount of pixie dust, and you don't want to end up disappointed when you don't get the same thing someone else did...

W-STEELE- We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge.

E-Lasti girl- Your caps are so cute. I wish I was that creative. DH will probably wear the ears then.

I will be staring a pre-trip report soon. Unfortunately I had to cancel our DFTW because of finances and DH illness. But at least the Honeymoon is PAID IN FULL. I just wanted to know special things that might happen to help him have some fun during his recover period. Thank everyone for your responses.
