| Hi and welcome to the boards! I like the idea of getting him to read PassPorter, as that will give him a good idea of what it's all about. I can thoroughly recommend some romantic meals - our favourites include the California Grill and Artist Point. Don't miss Wishes or IllumiNations - two great shows to see together. ![]()

| Welcome to the boards!!! I remember the first time I took my DH to Disney World. He had never been, and I have to say it was one of the best trips ever. Seeing it through his eyes was like seeing it for the first time all over again, and that was special just by itself. A couple of things we did together that we really liked was the Luau at the Polynesian and dinner at the California Grille (during Wishes). And Wishes, that is by far one of the best shows at Disney World...especially with someone you love. You might also want to take him to a few character meals to get him into the spirit of Disney. Good Luck!!!

| We will be there the first weekend in Sept too!!!! If you see someone with a pp pouch and name tag (Shari) stop and say Hello.......The first time I took my Dh to the World we went through a guide book (can't remember which one, this was pre pp) and let him chose what looked interesting to him and I made suggestions too. The one thing these days that we do not miss is dinner at the Cali Grill during Wishes.....it is great!

| Hi and Welcome! It depends on what he likes. You might consider some of the dark rides... You might like to watch Wishes from the beach at the Poly...

| Thanks so much for the help... If you have anything else, keep it coming. He's leaving all the planning up to me, unfortunately. So I've decided to take him to MK & I'll just wing it from there... There's just so much to do, I feel kinda overwhelmed. |

| Hey if it helps, me and the guy I'm dating are going to WDW in the near future and I'm currently in the process of planning some things for us to do. I've planned some ADRs for restaurants such as the Coral Reef, California Grill, and Narcoossee's. He's been to WDW before but it's been about 6 years. Let me know if you have any other questions about anything! Welcome to the boards!

| Have you called and made dining reservations yet? Its an absolute must do NOW if you haven't. You cannot walk up to sit down meals in WDW and expect to get seated. Counter Service meals aren't going to be very romantic night after night. When DH and I were dating, we took our first trip together to WDW. It was a little rough the 1st day because I had my childhood routines (that I still adhere to mostly) and he wasn't completely SOLD on Disney right away. Our first day was THANKSGIVING and by dinner time, we were feeling a little BLUE being away from our families. I was completely freaking out (on the inside) thinking it was going to turn out to be the worst trip ever when we headed for our dinner reservation. After 3 minutes of being seated at THE CORAL REEF it was like all the nervousness disappeared. We laughed through the whole meal, enjoyed the big tank, and had a wonderful holiday meal. The rest of the trip was fabulous. Moral of the story is don't set your expectations too high for DBF. Let him adjust to all the magic at is pace, not yours. It can be overwhelming. AND make reservations at some terrific restaurants to wind down from all the walking and riding! Have a great time!!! |

| Hmm... I never thought about that. & I was thinking about getting the Dining Plan, it seems like a good investment but I'm not sure if its worth it since we're only going to MK for that one day. Oh yea... & I was thinking about doing the character breakfast too, I love it! But I'm not to sure how he's gonna feel about it. |
