Perfect time for a honeymoon~

My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon for next year in 2010. We are flexible at this point, but need to make a decision soon as to what time of year to get married. Based on your own experiences, when is the best time to go to Disney World for our honeymoon and is March really THAT crowded? Any help is truly appreciated!!!!

I can only tell you which times of the year we enjoy going and those are May for the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot, which is truly stunning - it could make for some beautiful photos. Another great time to visit is October, as they've got the Food and Wine Festival in Epcot and the Halloween Party in the Magic Kingdom. Both times are usually good weather - not too hot with pretty low crowds.

January is quiet. Early May is relatviely quiet. March can be a bear, depending when Easter is. I'd probably avoid it. September is nice, as is early December!!

Our fav times to go are end of April/early May and end of September/early October. We pick these times primarily because the weather is nice and the crowds are fairly low. My darling father (who we call grumpy on every trip) hates crowds and heat and these times work for him!

We honeymooned at Disney in October and it was wonderful. We had the Food and Wine festival going on and the Halloween party and the weather was still warm enough to relax by the pool during the day and the nights were cool. This is still our favorite time of the year to visit and we try to go each year. It's your honeymoon though, so no matter when you go, it will be magical!

Thanks everyone! We are leaning towards May thanks to your suggestions. I would really love to go after Thanksgiving, but before Christmas to experience the decor and festivity, however I don't want to have a Christmas wedding. Decisions...Decisions.... lol

The 2 weeks after Thanksgiving are typically the least crowded. That's what all the books say at least. But I think early May before Memorial Day is a great time. It's near the end of the school year so parents are reluctant to pull their kids out of school. The weather is mild and usually still drier than later I. The summer. Congratulations!! And have a wonderful time!
