| Honeymoon/Aniversary We're planning on going next year for our 3 year Anniversary which will also be our delayed Honeymoon (sadly with the little one). Does anyone have any advice on what kinds of things to do with a young one(he'll be 2 turning 3 a month later) at Disney while we're trying to get some Adult Time in? We're planning to have my mom and her boyfriend come up to spend a day or 2 with us but also get an hour or 2 alone to enjoy celebrating our Anniversary. Also since we never got to have a traditional wedding (wanted it at Disney but couldn't afford it, and are saving up for a Vow Renewal for 6 Year Anniversary) would it be weird going around with the Minnie Bridal ears and maybe a shirt with Mrs. (fill in last name) est. 6.1.07 (our Wedding Date) decorated with Minnie with a Tiara on the Front and Minnie on the back with the veil? Just thinking of it being Honeymoon-ish and actually celebrating Anniversary? I know my hubby isn't for that kind of thing, but I think they're rather cute. Also doesn anyone know where either at Disney or in Downtown Disney where they sell the Glass Cinderella Slippers? That's one stop we'll be making for extra decor for our Vow Renewal. I've seen on Disney's website where they sell them in packages with other items, just don't know where to find them other than Disney. I haven't seen anything online for them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all. |

| I don't think it would be weird to wear your ears with the wedding date of 6-1-07. As for some alone time since your DS will be to young for the kids clubs you could try the Kids Night Out Service or the FairyGodmother Service. From what I've read they do a great job at babysitting. We plan on using them in the future.

| Thanks That's a great suggestion. Thank you. I think maybe the night of our Actual Anniversary so we can at least enjoy Dinner Out, we'll look into the in-room babysitting. I'll have to ask the hotel if they'll let him do the in-hotel Kids Activity night given he'll be a month shy of 3. I know there won't be much alone time w/o the munchkin, wish we would think of leaving him home, but he can at least enjoy Disney once w/o them charging us for him for Admission, food, and Accomodations and it's a nice early b-day present for him too. Your advice is great. Thank you. |

| I got a Cinderella slipper at a shop on Main Street in the MK. Not sure what it was called but they sold all kinds of glass items there. I'm sure you find it. I love my Cinderella slipper. It's on my headboard (it's a wide bookshelf headboard) right next to my little wooden sign that says, always kiss me goodnight.

| Thank you for letting me know where to find the Cinderella Slippers. I think we'll have to get 2 of them one with our names and actual wedding date on it and another one with Happily Ever After. We have our cake topper (Cinderella and Prince Charming) which was on sale through the Disney Store and we might have to look for our Toasting Flutes and Cake Cutter and Server from Disney as well and use our "From Disney Wedding items" at our Vow Renewal in a few years in New Orleans. |

| Also I forgot to ask, do you remember off hand how much your Cindy Slippers were? Please let me know, so I can make sure we have enough to buy 2 (just incase one breaks on us before our Vow Renewal). Please also let me know where I might be able either in the park, DTD, or the Outlet Stores in O-town where I might be able to find the Cinderella Cake Knife and Server, as well as Toasting Flutes, and guest book. Those are the only missing pieces for Cindy theme Vow Renewal I still need to buy. The rest I'm designing myself. Thank you. |

| It seems to me that I saw your missing items in the same store at MK. Not 100% though. I would think that maybe World of Disney would also have what your looking for. It seems they have everything. As for the slipper, I have absolutly no idea how much money I spent. I know they had a couple different sizes and I can't imagine I would have spent a lot but I just don't have a clue.

| Thank you. I've been searching online for all of those things and nothing online has struck my fancy, except our Cake Topper which was a steal from the Disney Store (went on sale and even with s/h it was a total bargain). I've only been in World of Disney once, but it is on the list of places to stop. Thank you. |

| when we were on our honeymoon in 1999 we stayed at POFQ i saw a couple wearing the vail and top hat i had to have them it was my suggestion to get them . i love them it is a memorie that will last for ever And NO it is a good idea this is the only place you can act like a kid again . the babysitting great idea . especally if you do a firework dinner - or fantasmic dinner my favorite show . if you can get a night out would be amazing and magical . it is hard for us since we have a 7 and 3 yo . or if you can only get a few hours away maybe dinner somewhere in DTD maybe . good luck and have a magical honeymoon

I'm defanitely going to check into the babysitting, if not ask my mom ahead of time if she is coming up to join us if we can leave him with her for a night and have the 3 of them join us in Disney or see if she wouldn't mind having a night of time spoiling her oldest Grandson. I know she won't mind since she doesn't get to see him as much as my in-laws do (they see him every day). We were thinking of the same thing when we plan a larger trip with DSis, DBroIL, and letting them have some nights out to themselves, some nights out to ourselves, and mom and boyfriend to themselves, and having the rest of us who aren't out stay with the kids. This trip though I would feel too guilty going to Disney w/o DS and him ask why we only brought him back presents, why he couldn't come along? At least a night out alone seems more reasonable even for an hour or 2 doesn't seem like too much time away from him, but just enough to do something more geared toward adults. I'm looking into all the options for the Fireworks and think that's more something I'm leaning toward for our Anniversary night instead of Chef Mickey's and it being more Alone time than having the little one with us. Thank you Jeff. | |

| I'm with you Jeff. I love my children dearly and love nothing more then seeing their faces at Disney, but DH and I went without them for my birthday and it was absolutly amazing. I missed them for like half a second and then it was all about us. We had fun shopping for them and telling them about our trip when we got home, but while we were there we were in heaven. It was so nice to move at our pace and no complaining or crying or fighting or...... It was heaven. I hope you get that chance!!

| Thank you both for your advice. DH doesn't go on Rollercoasters where as I do, but planning a trip based on slower rides the 3 of us can enjoy as a family, especially my mom because of her back, would be more than I could ever hope for on our trip. I loved your suggestion Jeff of going somewhere in DTD, which we were planning on Planet Hollywood one night during our trip since I love their Texas Tostados (theirs taste like BBQ Nachos, love them), that we could always see about maybe us go out to dinner somewhere there and let my mom and her boyfriend take the little one over by the legos to play and for ice cream or something just so we can get sometime to ourselves. He was away for a week from us when my inlaws took him to New Orleans with them and I think the first and second day I was having separation anxiety from him. The rest of the time I just couldn't wait for him to come home but loved having quiet time with DH every night when he came home from work. Thanks for the suggestion about the carriage rides and the wagon rides. I'm hoping POFQ will be in our price range for when we go or else it might be Pop Century for us. Either of those would be fun yet relaxing. From a friend she told me not to stay at Cornado Springs which is where she stayed on her Honeymoon. She said that the bus over to the parks didn't come as frequently as she was told. Hopefully I'll get a couple of Weddings to Coordinate this year so that money can go toward upgrading to Moderate or Deluxe resort. I love the idea of dinner during one of the fireworks shows though given what would have been our 1st 4th of July together I only got to watch them with a day old baby on TV in my hospital room, and last year we got to enjoy them during my sister's Rehearsal Dinner (I love fireworks). During one of our last times to WDW we didn't have perfect view of the Fireworks from MK, but we did get to see Tinkerbell Fly. I loved it and myt Grandma got a kick out of it. It's been so long since I've seen fireworks from Epcot and I've never seen them at DHS. At least the food at Disney thread is helping me figure out where we should eat while we're there given I'm such a picky eater and can hopefully find somewhere a little more nice to go for our Anniversary day for lunch and night for dinner. I never even knew about the Water Parade at night time. That might be another option for us since I'm planning on bringing our picnic blanket for when we make stops we can sit and stretch our legs, but that might even be something to do one night even with a picnic dinner or dessert. I'm still trying to get DH's input but all I get is "I don't know." or "eh". Maybe we could leave him at home and he might have a better time with his Grandparents and his Auntie and we could probably get there on fewer stops just the 2 of us and enjoy some much needed peace and quiet. I think I forget what life was like before having a little one around. It would be a different experience without having to worry about getting the little one to bed early every night and the 2 of us could be night owls again, instead of early birds. However thank goodness for Disney Transportation around the whole Resort if you have a few adult drinks while you're out, leave the car at the hotel and have reliable transportation w/o drinking and driving. |

| You should totally wear the ears! They are such an eye catcher and you will get so many comments from CM and other guests. My husband and I got married in Vegas 06/2007. We also couldn't have our honeymoon that year so we did ours in Oct 2008 at WDW. It's not weird at all to celebrate whenever you can! Go for it Girl!!!
