| Romantic things to do without the kids? DH and me are off to WDW in October with our DD for some together time. I have read some posts in which people say there are loads of romantic things to do without the kids. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks |

| There are carriage rides, great restaurants, wonderful places for romantic strolls. My husband and I got to go last November our first trip with out children in over 6 years. We loved the carriage ride, and really enjoyed our meals at CG and Yachtsman's Steakhouse, and Tutto Italia. But mainly we just enjoyed being together, holding each other's hand and taking our time walking around the parks. Without having to worry about the where the children are. Watching the fireworks from the Poly Beach is very romantic too. Whatever you wind up doing you will have a great time.

| I can recommend some great restaurants - in particular, the California Grill, Yachtsman Steakhouse and Artist Point.

| Poly Beach is very romantic -- with or without fireworks!! Especially with a bright, shiny moon hanging in the sky. DH and I really like strolling hand in hand through MK in the evening. Have a wonderful time!! Lisa

| DH and I love a stroll around world showcase, lingerling in the shops and watching the people. It's so much easier to do without kids along!

| You've gotten some fantastic ideas already. Don't underestimate the simplicity of taking each moment as it comes, just the two of you. Sit down and relax at an out of the way park bench, wander through the shops in World Showcase hand in hand....enjoy being at the World, together, with no kids.

| Rent a boat on seven seas lagoon. relax in a hammock on Poly beach, walk in down-town Disney, go see La Nouba, get up early and watch the sunrise. Stay up late and watch the fireworks, find all of the little walkways in EPCOT that most people miss - and literally stop and smell the roses. Take the Aqua Seas tour, sit and watch Carousel of Progress (one of my favorite quiet places), get a Kaka Gori in Japan, and sit and watch people walking by. There are so many neat things to do with your SO, it's mind boggling. Depends on how much time you have and how much money you want to spend. Dinner at Bistro de Paris in EPCOT may be one of the most romantic places to eat in the World. And, not as much $$ as Victoria & Alberts. |

| I find the parks most romantic late at night. Our favorite thing to do is take our time leaving. We get an ice cream or a sweet, sit on a bench and watch people go by, watch the beautiful lights, listen to the fabulous music and sounds. After our snack we amble out and there is hardly a wait at the bus stop because we missed all the rush. Happy Anniversary! I wish you many more years of joy and Disney magic! |
