Love the idea of giving your mom a PassPorter all filled out with information about your trip as her gift, what an exciting way to get her ready for the trip.

Thank you so much. I had just thought of it today as I need to get my 2010 copy, so why not give her one too. She is becoming harder to find gifts for, but I know it's something she'll appreciate. I had already planned to buy her and my sister one for a future trip we plan to take when my sister's twin boys are closer to 2 or 3(maybe 3) so we classify as a Grand Gathering. It will be nice this way for her she can see options and know that there are some healthier offerings besides pizza, burgers and if she doesn't want to eat were we do, no big deal

Another update and I have to admit I am bummed as tonight while Erick, Skyler, & I were driving to meet some friends from College for dinner that his company is merging with a few of their other locations and moving their building, but it's supposed to happen when we were planning on going away and he doesn't think his boss will approve of his vacation time I told him I was ok with postponning our trip for possibly when Value Season hits so that we may have better luck staying on property and he did make a great point that we could save up more money for the trip. I'm all for that, and hopefully we can go for MNSSHP now. The thing that makes me sad though is having to celebrate my mom's Birthday later as well as not only being there on Erick's & my Anniversary, my mom and I won't get to celebrate someone very special to s whom we always wanted to bring to Disney before he passed away an we could have remembered him while at Disney, my grandfather(my mom's dad) whom passed away June 1,1994. Erick and I have turned that day from being a sad day to a happy one again, but with his memory always with us on that day. I guess now I have to refigure out our dates for Disney now and figure out where to stay and all!

I know that you are a bit dissappointed about having to hold the trip off a few months but it would be great if going during value season lets you stay on property and do some of the things that you might not have been able to do in June. We have had to hold off on trips and in the end the changes just work out so much better....I am sure yours will too.

Thank you! That's what I was thinking too when he mentioned it to me. I think more than anything though I am not being with my mom on the day her dad passed away and us remembering him in a Happy Place truthfully. I know it will be worth the wait and maybe the crowds will be lighter for us to enjoy more, oh yeah and Erick will have more vacation time saved up then too!

We are post pinning the trip til Sept./Oct. (2010) Or Jan./Feb(2011) if DH doesn't lose his job during the company location's move. On a plus side we do have a trip to look foward to, not to Disney, but to Boston for my little Brother(tears he will be a teenager on Oct. 30th) as we will help him celebrate his Bar Mitzvah (in Jewish customs when a boy becomes a Man). We will be driving up the morning of Thurs., Nov. 5th and returning sonetime Sun., Nov. 8th or Mon., Nov., 9th! Hopefully that Friday though will be a fun day for Erick, Skyler, & I before we head to Friday night Temple Services as we will be celebrating my 27th Birthday that Friday! One gift came early "Snow White" and the other when we return "Up", however the other thing I am looking foward to is finally getting to meet Erick's and my only Nephews/Skyler's only 1st cousins Parker & Peyton. They're already 6 months old now!

Thank you all for reading along with all my ramblings and attemp of planning a trip that isn't going to happen for us next year and will wait another couple of years actually. On a plus side I did talk to DSis last night and she still wants to take a trip with us in a few years when her twin DS's are 3-4 and can enjoy more of Disney. Since this will be a first trip for Skyler, & our DTwinN's Parker & Peyton, I think it's only fair that we bring along all of their Grandparents so they don't miss out on the trip. I'm not sure if DSis Pam's DH Joe's family has ever been to Disney or not and one of his brothers has 2 kids of his own, it might make it more fun. I did ask my DMil today if we took him in a few years if she and DFil would like to be there for Skyler's first trip to Disney and she did think they would more than likely would love to join us too! DMil did mention a funny story of their last trip to Disney that happened to DH and DBil that DH never remembered happening. To make a long story short DFil accidentally literally burned DH and DBil's spending money they saved them selves, and luckily the bank replaced it for them. I will hopefully know about a potential Grand Gathering of 27 or fewer will start another PTR!

Thank you all again for reading along. The good news about our cancelled trip is we we did get all but $15 back of our deposit back.

Another sad note, we're supposed to be leaving for Boston at 8:00am and I have the Flu. My poor brother sadly won't have us in his pictures as DH stays home for 5 days (the time he requested off from both jobs) to take care of me and DS.

Thank you Kelly 27 People most certainly is a Grand Gathering. After enjoying meeting my Sister's In-laws, they would be fun to have with us too. My sister's other Nephew is a year older than Skyler(so he'd at least have someone more his age to play and have fun with) and their Niece is 2 months younger than the twins. At least with the kiddos they can enjoy eachother's company. The only 3 people Im uncertain about are my dad, stepmom, and brother(he'd be the only teenager, but enough of us that are still teens at heart to enjoy the big kid rides that he couldn't wen he was 3 1/2)). I'm not expecting everyone to come, but whomever is, we'll make it fun.
