| Erick & Becki's a little late but better than never Honeymoon and our 3 Year Wedding Anniversary trip to the World (PTR) Let me start by intrudcing our Cast of Characters: Me (Becki): I am 26 years old and I am an absolute Disney Addict given I was born and raised only a few hours south of WDW in Florida! I have several trips under my belt, but this will be the most special trip to Disney of them yet. Last trip to Disney was a 1/2 day at MK with my DSis, DBro, & DF in 2000. I am a SAH/WFH Mom (I am currently an AVON Representative) and wonderful wife to DH Erick. I am also a student from home taking a course in becoming a Wedding Coordinator. DH (Erick): Erick is 25 years old. He has taken a few trips with his family to Disney either from Maryland or Colorado. He couldn't tell me when his last trip to Disney has been though Picture of the Happy Couple: ![]() Erick and I have almost been married for 2 wonderful years now and this will be the trip we both are looking foward to and Erick mostly deserves. He works so hard and never takes vacation time for himself. The past couple of years his paid vacation has been used toward us going to my Sister's Wedding, and this year for his Brother's Wedding and my Brother's Bar Mitzvah. He is the most selfless and unselfish person I know and I am so lucky to be married to my College Best Friend So far Erick and I have decided that the resort we love the most on Disney property is CBR. Working with our TA, that is our plan for our 7 Day/6 Night trip which our dates are to include (hopefully the first flight out) Friday, May 28, 2010- Friday, June 4, 2010 (hopefully a later in the evening flight back home). We have to wait to book our airfare since our TA is hoping to get us on Southwest from Washington, Dulles. We're starting to put together lists of where we want our ADRs placed for, however we do know that Narcoossee's is a must for our 3 Year Anniversary Dinner on June 1st during our trip during Wishes! More to come as we plan...please stay tuned.

| Thank you so much Denise. I'm so glad you are all interested in reading our Pre-trip report, and all of our planning. This is the first trip to Disney for us both where our parents aren't making any of the plans for the trip, or where I haven't gone on a school trip to Disney. I sent the TA that we started working with an e-mail yesterday afternoon and hopefully will hear back from him. I almost forgot that Erick does get a discount for working at Harris toward Disney Vacations(their HQ is in Orlando), that could help us save a little bit on our trip, so we will have to wait and see if they have released the prices yet, if not we may still have to wait until August to call the number given to Harris Employees and see if the prices are similar per night at CBR that the TA has provided for us. I have started in pencil started writing down our requsts in our PPer for room locations with a King bed (given we share a Full at home and DS likes to take it over) so a little more space would be nice. So far we're planning on this trip just being the two of us, but DS Skyler might be coming along with us (at least only costs as of right now for him would be a plane ticket and altering our room to Double Beds and a Pack and Play for him, but that's no big deal given still at the time of our travel he will be under 3 and can share food from our plates and possibly a babysitter for us to enjoy at least a couple of hours by ourselves if my mom isn't able to meet up with us for a day/night). I have most certainly read through all of the menus on allears.net to find out where my picky taste buds would enjoy food at, and let's just say quite a few restaurants, both QS & TS have pencil check marks next to them. Another must restaurant for us (or on my my list is a must) is Planet Hollywood. The one in DTD I love the enterance up to the restaurant, and that is the 1st Planet Hollywood I have ever been to (we ate there when my mom took me for a 3-4 day trip to Universal Studios in 2001 right after September 11th for my Birthday a month later when I was visiting her for Christmas) besides the one in London with some Collegemates on our Study Abroad trip. Some of the other Restaurants I have on my list that we have never tried are: Rose & Crown, Earl of Sandwich, WPE, Yak & Yeti or Yak & Yeti Express, Tusker House (although we may opt for Picnic in the Park which does come from Tusker House I believe), Boma (for Breakfast), Chef Mickey's, Cantina de San Angel, Mama Melrose, 50's Prime Time, O'hana, & Toy Story's Pizza Planet. Some Oldies but Goodies that are also on our list are: Flame Tree BBQ, Tony's Town Square, and Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. I know a lot won't happen this trip, but at least the list is quite decent, although I'm pretty sure every QS place with a Cheeseburger on the menu will be sufficient for Erick We are planning on Breakfast mostly being at CBR, but there may be a few away from there. A few of the things I am most certainly looking foward to as I love Belgium Waffles are the Mickey Waffles (given when our first trip when I was 6 I don't think they were served then at Character Breakfasts), the Cinnamon Rolls from the MK Mainstreet Bakery, French Toast Loaf if they bring it back, & Tonga Toast. I have also both online and in my PPer penciled in check marks next to the rides and attractions we want to see and conquer. As it looks it's almost all of each parks' attractions and rides, but we will make the Custom Maps as a reminder of what we would like to do and reminds us when we get back of our trip. Erick isn't a big Roller Coaster fan, so I might be hanging out in the Single Rider's line for those, but also I don't mind all of the slower paced rides and shows. This trip though we will most defanitely explore more of the WSC in Epcot since my last visit was only a day at Epcot and there wasn't as much to do in WSC then. I am most certainly interested in trying out the KPWSA, as I loved the show and would get a kick out of trying out the attraction. I have started to create an Autograph Book to take with us for Skyler incase he comes or doesn't (I won't let an Autograph Opportunity pass me by) by actually using a Create Your Own Photo Book by using your own printer and the photo pages and covers. I still have yet to find characters he loves, but we do know Goofy is a must as we've discovered from our newest pictures of Skyler with Goofy that he loves him. I am going to leave the opposite pages blank and when we get home will print favorite pictures of the trip for Skyler. This is about how far our planning has come to, but more will be soon to come!

| Thank you everyone! Last night however I did have a royal blond moment (nobody will let me live down my blond moments as I'm still 75% blond if you take the Elle Woods How Blonde Quiz on Facebook; and I was born with platinum blond hair and it was that way for a while) and thought last night was a Wednesday (one of Erick's nights at Home Depot), and he had to remind me it was Tuesday (well his college class was on Tuesdays and last Tuesday was his final, I forgot he was done for the semester). I tried browsing on http://www.memoriesbybetsy.com and Walt Disney World Florist - Lake Buena Vista, FL, 32830 - Delivering Fresh Flowers and Gifts (for anyone else who is looking to use them for adding Extra Magic for your next trip) for some ideas on what to put together to have delivered to our room for our trip. I am looking to add a ton of Extra Magic for Erick as he won't let me spoil him (well he has a nice surprise coming for him). I wanted his input on what kind of Mickey Ears he would wear or if he would prefer I got him with a Disney Character Baseball Hat, and some other things as well. About Erick's discount from his Full time Employer, that was part of our deciding factor that we should go to Disney for our Honeymoon, eventhough we knew Universal Studios Tickets were less expensive (however their hotels were more than we wanted to spend per night and I hate to say this, but when my mom took me in 2001, I was bored by day 3 between both Universal Parks and we skipped out on Day 4 which I felt really bad having my mom spend money on an extra night at The Hard Rock Hotel and us not enjoy US or IoA the next day instead of the Outlet Mall on our way back to WPB) and Disney has much more to offer that even for 6 Nights and 7 Days you at least get a chance to hit all of the Parks twice (or more) and DTD and not have to only have a limited time there. I did remind Erick that a lot of companies don't give their employees the kind of discounts to take trips to Disney, US, SW, WNW, & KSC, so we will see if any of those also are a part of our itinnerary, and he is extremely lucky to work for a company that does that for their employees. Only my first trip to Disney when I was 6 and another visit when I was 9 did we get the most out of MK, Epcot, and at the time MGM (DHS) when it was a new park. There is still a lot of AK that I have not seen or done there given my only trip thus far to AK was with my Grandmother and everything had to be at her pace (which we didn't mind at all, it just meant no Kali River Rapids or thrill rides at the time). I am looking foward to all of the newer attractions I have not tried at all of the parks. Another thing at least on Erick's list of things to do and a mid-afternoon break one day on our trip are to rent a SeaRaycer or two and spend some time on the lake. He's never driven a boat, and they do look similar to a Wave Runner (Jet Ski) which I love to ride. If Skyler comes with us, that might be my treat to Erick and let him enjoy one by himself while I stay with Skyler, and he can have some time to himself on our trip. Although we are going when it is warm in Florida, I see no point to adding a day at a Water Park to our trip, and the sad thing even to this day is out of all of my trips to Disney, we've still never been to TL. We are as well going to try out the pool at CBR this trip too, given that is another thing we forget to do when we have taken trips to Disney and have stayed onsite. Disney offers so many water attractions at the parks themself as well as the pool with the amazing themed slides at the resorts. I have tried talking Erick into 1 Character Breakfast or Dinner hopefully for CM, O'hana, 1900PF, H & V (with PHD Characters) or CP if Skyler does come with us so he can say he got to celebrate his 3rd Birthday (a month early) at Disney, but that will be a surprise for him. If any of those don't work, we'll try T-rex and see how he likes it. I think another thing on our list of things to buy for Erick for our trip thouh is his own digital camera so that he doesn't have to complain about using my girley pink Digital Camera! He's usually the one with the camera, but I'm hoping with pre-ordering the PhotoPass CD for our trip, being able to get lots of nice pictures of us this trip (I still haven't gotten down having the right angle on how to hold the camera and get pictures of ourselves) and both Erick and I (or Erick, Skyler, & I being in the pictures). I'll update as soon as I can once I am able to find out if the dates have been released to our TA and if we have luck talking to the contact for Harris Employees for Disney trips as to if we're able to get things booked soon or if we still need to wait until August.
