| Okay I am starting to plan my trip to Disney for May 2, 2010 through May 8, 2010. Our anniversary night my DH and I have decided that you only have one First Anniversary being married. Having said that, I want to do it big. So right now I have reserved a Lodge Room in the Grand Floridian. However, I just learned about the Good Night Kiss in the Magic Kingdom. I called Disney and for 39.99 I can change my room to a Magic Kingdom view room but I will lose some space. I am trying to decide which is more romantic. Is it more romantic to watch the fireworks from your balcony of your room or on the beach at the Grand Floridian? I am trying to make my DH fall in love with Disney as much as I do so my family and his family will stop giving us grief about wanting to Vacation in Disney every year for our anniversary. Everyone likes to give an opinion. Last edited by aurora_ca; 09-11-2009 at 03:12 PM.. Reason: misspelled words |

| I think both are rather romantic. I guess it depends on where you "want" to watch the fireworks from. Perhaps you could order room service and dine on some goodies while watching the fireworks from your room. And you can get up in the morning and view the MK.

| For only $40, I'd upgrade my room. You won't notice the space difference. Really! You can order room service with chocolate covered strawberries, champagne or your choice drink and watch Wishes from your balcony!

| I would upgrade the room. You wont notice lost space but you will enjoy watching the fireworks from your balcony and waking up to MK right outside your window very romantic and magical! |

| I vote for the upgrade also! We are spending the first night of our trip next month at the GF with the MK view. The rest of our family arrives the next day so this is our night together to enjoy our favorite place in the world with that special view of the castle. |

| For $40 you will have the option. Too tired to go to the beach, you won't miss the show. I'll leave the rest to your imagination. Enjoy your 1st Anniversary. I hope you will be on the boards 29 years from now planning your 30th. The adventure is great fun!

| I would also upgrade. We spent our 4th anniversary in a tower suite and it was absolutely fabulous to watch the fireworks from our room! Besides I'm pretty sure you can't see anything but the high fireworks from the GF beach--we saw part of the Villians Fireworks from there during a picnic. To see the actual fireworks you'd have to go over to the less comfortable boat dock. If we want to see the fireworks from a beach, we go to the Poly. CONGRATS and have a fabulous trip!

| Go with the upgrade!! You two don't need the added space! Watching MK from your balcony for some is a once in A lifetime thing & you deserve it!
