| bibbidi bobbidi boutique ? Has anyone taken their little princess to the boutique? I was wondering if it was possible to bring our own princess dress from home, instead of buying one there. We have several and I would like to spend $50 instead of $200. Esp. since I have 2 princesses! Thanks! |

| You most certainly can bring their own costumes, just have them dressed when they get to the BBB. You won't get the "photo session", but you can get photopass pics of while they are getting all "done up". Photopass has some very cute embellishments just for BBB and they make great pictures! In my siggy pic, this is DD for a Pirate/Princess party. She didn't have a princess dress, but did bring her own tiara, and that great necklace to wear with her Jack Sparrow shirt. So you can bring things yourself to make it what you want. |

| We took our daughter to the BBB two years ago when she was three. She still talks about it and has her sash and tiara. She wore that tiara all week and would have worn it in the pool if I would have let her! I too took before, during and after pics and they are precious. She walked around Downtown Disney like she owned the place (not in a bad way) and loved the reaction of everyone around her. Have a wonderful time with your little ones! |

| Yep, we brought ours from home. Here's a hint, the BBB at DTD (probably the one at MK too, not sure) has a dressing room. My DD changed in the bathroom at WOD b/c we didn't know this. ![]()

Regardless of dressing area....I highly recommed the BBB and as the others said you CAN bring your dress with you. They make every princess feel incredibly special no matter what you spend so I would definitely go for it! | |

Here are the prices for the BBB Walt Disney World Resort - Detecting Browser Properties . . . They do start at 49.95...hair&make-up plus tax and go up. We have an appointment our first day and then dinner at 1900 Park Fare. My DD's are so excited we will be bringing a costume from home.

| Just to pass on a tip I saw on another board, if you are trying to save money. The barbershop in MK will do girls's hair in a hairdo similar to that at BBB, for only $17 (plus tip). Even cheaper than the $50 at BBB! Don't think you get the sash then, but still all the fun!! Just passing it along. There are so many tips on these boards you just can't find them all!!

| I bought my two girls dresses at Walmart. We dressed before we went and they had no problem with it. They had so much fun. They can't wait to go back and do it again.

The funny thing is people always ask where to get the dresses. Admitidly we have'nt tried the boutique treatment yet. She did however like when one of the fairy godmothers came out and sprinkled her with fairy dust.

| Did this in May with my 5-year-old DD. She loved it! We brought a dress and I am SO GLAD we did! I made her a dress with some Disney Princess fabric -- a nice, breathable cotton. She looked adorable and she got LOTS of compliments on her dress, plus she stood out from the crowd because she wasn't the same as everyone else. Because the dress was comfy and not too hot, she kept it on all the way to the end of the day and she still wears it to church and other occasions. (Plus, since we were having lunch at CRT, she didn't have to pick just ONE princess for the day...she had several on her skirt.) Here's a couple photos of my own little princess -- I know yours will enjoy it just as much! ![]()
