Confusion about the what will you celebrate? Are there fastpasses???
Hi, we are bringing the kids to WDW for their birthday. I was told to go to will call with the paperwork and will get a gift card for the price of one day admission. I was reading on TGM's forums that you can also get fast passes instead. Does anyone know if this is true and IYO which would be better in May....May 13th to be exact. We are spending it at MK<>

It really depends on what would be useful for you. The FastPass will be good for 4 rides. If you get to the park early enough, you could probably do several rides with minimal waits anyhow. On the other hand, the gift card is only useful if you will spend it -- for two kids, that's about $130 in souvenirs.

I would go with the price of the ticket and souvenirs. We love going during
this time and didn't really need fast passes because the crowds were low.

We've chosen to go with the gift card on Friday for DS' birthday. It made more sense than a FP that might not be necessary. This way, he gets another gift (he's actually sharing with his sister) out of this.

i agree from what i have read i think they only give 4 fast passes . at this point i think the gift card is the best way to go.

If you arent going at a busy time I would go with the gift card otherwise I would do the fastpasses.

My Previous TripsWell, I've been to Disney every 3 years since I was born so that makes 10 times and we've always stayed at the Polynesian, I also stayed offsite once with my high school chorus and I've been to Disneyland many many times since I used to live right down the street. Last trip was Feb 08 when DH took me for my 30th bday!!
