| Youngest baby age? Hi, we took my daughter when she was 6 months but now we are going when our new baby would only be 3 months. It is not in a hot month but I am just wondering if this is too young? What is the youngest baby you have gone with and do you have any tips? TIA! |

| I would not personally want to take a baby that young.......... the heat, stuck in the stroller a lot, the germs........... However, that said; a LOT of people have gone with babies much younger than three months and had a great time! My sister just had a baby and is considering going to Disney with us in November; this will put her baby at 5 mos when we go; she is leaning towards leaving baby with grandparents during the trip. I'm sure you will have a great time if you go with the three mo old- atleast at that age, they are usually content to sit and just look around!

| We took our daughter for the first time at 18 months old. She could run around, talk to the characters and her interaction is what made it special. Still it wasn't easy with diaper changes, naps, and not to mention the heat. Seeing Disney through her eyes is really why our trips have become so special.Every trip holds cherished memories. Here she is at 18 months on her first trip in the attached photo.

| My son was 4 months his first visit to the Magic Kingdom...we were in Orlando for a simple (ie, cheap!) vacation and skipped Disney. We did go to MK for the Pirate and Princess party (had to get my fix somehow!!) We had a fab time and he was big enough that he could sit in the stroller out of his infant carrier...had the seat reclined a bit. He was sooooooooooo good...LOVED looking around. We even took him on a bunch of rides...POTC, Dumbo, IASW, etc... Now a whoel week.....hmm.....I think I would do it....but any younger.....just not sure. He was 9 months when we did our big 10 day trip in October 08. He was soooooooooooooo good....better behaved than my 5 y/o. He loved just sitting there and watching everything. We went to MNSSHP...dd fell asleep before the parade, ds woke up just as it was starting....LOVED it...I have the cutest pics of him watching with his mouth open, gaped in amazement! He slept in his stroller like an angel..took two naps a day! He LOVED the characters too...smiled and giggled...they were so good with him. Our next trip he will be 20 months...I am really looking forward to him seeing the characters again..now that he knows who Mickey is...after seeing him on TV.

| The trip is only three days and we will be at the Contemporary. I really just want to do MK 2 days for my 2 year old daughter. It was way easier when she was 6 months then it is now! |

| We took our first DD at about 15 months, our DS at 5 months & we took our new DD at about 7 weeks. It was in September so it was hot but she did fine. As for germs, no one even attempted to touch her. A lot of people looked at her but no one touched her and she spent most of her time asleep. We brought a washcloth from the room and would wet it and sort of wet her head to help keep her cool. It's doable but probably not the wasy you're normally used to. |

| We took our now 5 year old dd when she was 9mos old. It was a great trip. My youngest on this next trip will be 13 months and I am looking forward to it. I think it is all in what you make of it. If you are relaxed and can improvise where needed it all works out.

| You need to do what you're comfortable with. My DD was 8 mth on her first trip. I only have 1 child, and barely took her anywhere public her first few months. But, you've done this before (both Disney and being a mom) and know what to expect. I think it would be fine to take your new baby, especially just doing MK and staying at the Contemporary. You can always take the baby back to the room if it just seems like it's too much.

| We took our twins for the first time when they were 4 months old. My only advice is "DO NOT get on the Carousel of progress". I got on with Cassidy while I was feeding her. Half way through she finished her bottle and wanted more. How did I know this??? Well she SCREAMED though the rest of the ride. That was one of my "stupid Mommy" moments. My husband and I did split up every now and then so one could sit with them in the condo while the other toured the park with family, however I had 2 babies. You will be fine. There's not a lot that can keep me from a Disney Vacation. Hope you have a great time. |

| Maddie was 3 months old. She wasn't even conceived when this trip was planned, so we just kind of went with the flow. Thankfully, it was January so we had beautiful mild weather and my parents were with us so they often took her back to the room to rest while we did some things with our older daughter. Jill

| Well I think I am going to go for it, but if he is a fussy baby or something when he is born we can always nix the trip and just wait until May as planned. Thanks everyone and I love the story about the Carousel of progress-classic! |

| We are in the same boat......going in October with a (to-be) 4 month old. I will probably be the one that doesn't get to ride all the funnest rides. Are there any rides safe to ride with a baby (no jerking, high height.....aka gentle)??? Any other infant advice? We are staying off-disney.

| We took DS at about 18 months. I personally wouldn't go with a baby younger then 1 year. But that is just my opinion. Good luck!
