Fueling the excitement - Disney Dollars

My boys are saving change for our upcoming Disney trip. They have quite a bit saved, and I had told them I would match what they saved - and my mom said she would match it too. Only problem is I think in the end that is going to be waay too much money - lol - but we shall see!

Anyway, their banks are too full so on Friday I got some coin rollers and we rolled some of the change. My boys have never done that before and they were pretty excited to see it add up so fast!!! We rolled ten dollars in quarters, five in dimes, and two rolls of pennies per kid. That was all we could manage to roll before they lost interest - lol - and I had to finish for them.

Then last night we went to the Disney store and they traded their change in for Disney dollars!!! They were SO excited!! $16 was the perfect amount because they got a $10 and a $5 and a $1 - so they got to see some different designs on the money. And, their piggy banks are a little bit lighter!!!

Lucky you! I've had the same thoughts, but our Disney store closed. :-(

Since most of the Disney stores are gone, I have ordered gift cards on line. They come in $25 increments. If you decide on one of them, BE SURE to order them from the Disneyland site. They have more designs, but most important they DON'T charge the $4 shipping fee that the WDW site does. It only takes a couple of days to get them.
