We got into Chef Mickeys today for dinner in September!

I was so happy I cried. My dh has leukemia and another dysplasia that they will be checking to see if he needs surgery next Thursday. (prayers appreciated) This is his favorite restaurant so I am so happy they are getting us in! He insisted on taking the daughters and their families this year. So, off we will be going. A great expense when you are paying for cancer treatments. But, important. I know there is an organization for people with cancer that helps out, but don't know the name of it.

I'm sorry to hear about your hubby but I'm so glad you were able to get into his favorite restaurant for your trip.

Thank you! It is hard for me to be planning this trip. But, he is very positive in his outlook and believes he will beat this cancer. I am praying he does! And I hope I can relax and enjoy this trip. It was not in the budget, but it is necessary for our family right now. He is really looking forward to having the grandchildren in WDW with him.

Having a positive outlook and such wonderful vacation to look forward too I'm sure is doing wonders for him. Enjoy the planning and just take it one day at a time

Many pixies for the test results and his treatment...and I think that even though this was an added expense this could be the best medicine...a little Mickey Magic, special time with your daughters, grandchildren and you. I hope you have a wonderful trip, you truly deserve it.
