Our boys (ages 5 and 7) went on the cruise from the Grand Floridian on our trip last month. They LOVED it!

Once we were checked in, they each got a life vest and a pirate bandana that the CMs put on them as do-rags. They each got to pick a pirate temporary tattoo. Then the CMs told all the kids to find a buddy and board the boat. They sailed around Seven Seas Lagoon for two hours, making several stops to hunt for treasure. They at lunch on the cruise and finally found the treasure chest. They came home with a bag full of "loot." And my favorite part? A Photopass photographer accompanied them on the cruise! So after it was over, I simply had to visit the Photopass station in GF and get the photos downloaded on to my card.

I think the cruises leaving from other ports are similar, but I don't know any details about them. Hope your DS enjoys it!

We are staying at the Port Orleans, so my DD (6) will be taking the Bayou Pirate Cruise from there. She is so excited!

In March, DD went on the cruise from the Yacht Club and loved it!
They really hammed up the pirate things and she had a wonderful time.
They 'snuck' into Epcot and went to Mexico and had all sorts of fun. I am sure that any one you pick will be great!

Sounds fine...my kids(8 & 10) are doing the one from GF in a few weeks. What did you do while they were on the cruise?

DH and SS are doing the train tour the same day DS is doing the pirate cruise at GF so I get some me time. I may even have DH pick up DS at GF and meet me in MK.

That's great about the photopass photographer....then I'll be able to scrap it better.
