| cleanliness of rented strollers? OK, I'm trying to figure out what we are doing for a stroller. I'm considering renting from orlando stroller, but I'm curious as to the condition and cleanliness of the strollers. Are they clean and in good condition? It would really gross me out if it showed up full of crumbs, etc. from a previous rental. I know how hard kids can be on strollers!!! ![]()

| I would think they would arrive in good condition and clean. When we rented from the parks, I wiped them down with a sanitizing wipe just to make sure there were no cold germs. I hate getting sick on vacation.

| When DD was little, I would always take my own umbrella stroller. It was just easier & cheaper that way.

| Are you flying??? I cannot imagine going to the airport without a stroller...and if you have a layover...OMG.....no way I would lug my ds through an airport plus all our carry on bags and things. We always bring ours from home.

| Thanks everyone. I decided to go with Orlando Stroller rental. I figured I was being silly as it is their business and they wouldn't get repeat business if their equipment was dirty. I'm not taking a stroller as we don't use one any more -- our Girls are 7 and 5. They really don't need one anymore, but I know Disney is different. Honestly, I couldn't tell you the last time we used a stroller. I had planned on renting one through Disney, but the prices are crazy ridiculous. I guess it is all part of that captive audience thing.

| Will you report back about how much your kids ride in the stroller please? We're still trying to decide waht to do about strollers. I'm tentatively thinking we'll play it by ear and rent from Disney as needed, but if we're gonna end up needing one a lot, I'll just rent from one of the other places. Quote:
I think that porb depends on the ages and stroller use at home. The thought of trying to use a double stroller in the airport plus luggage makes me wanna cry. It's way easier for me to have them walk with us carrying their own carry-on bags (which is just a small bag with their leapsters and coloring books). Mine will be 6 and weeks away from turning 5, and we haven't used strollers since, hmm, well we went to Charleston when dd was 2.5 and hadn't used a stroller in months at that point. | |

| Hi, Just wanted to second the request for an update on how the stroller rental went. we are also thinknig about this for DSs 4 and 6 in December. We don't really want to lug a stroller through the airport either, but want to be able to use one on the busses, etc too. Thanks and have a great time! |

| We are back and here's my update: First, the stroller was impeccable, very clean. Second, we are so very happy we rented a stroller from Orlando Stroller. It was super easy to close, which meant it was easy to load on the bus. It was very helpful having a stroller at night when we were leaving the parks and going to the bus and when we were leaving the bus and returning to our room. We would never have been able to do so much at the parks if we had not rented the stroller. I would rent if you are in doubt. The little legs just get really pooped very quickly.
