| How do you bathe your toddler at WDW without your tub or bath seat We are staying at SSR & have a big round tub. Any tips on keeping her from sliding all around without having to get in with her? This is my 3rd kid & we brought the other 2 there as babies but I feel like a first time mom again! TIA |

| Put a bath towel in the bottom of the tub for traction. It was will be soaking wet, but at least you won't have to worry about as much sliding around. HTH

| It's been quite a while but I do remember a time when we put wet towels in the tub then filled it to make it less slippery for our DD while on vacation. You could bring an inflatable swim ring and have them sit on it like a Boppy. You would have to keep the water shallow but you could use a wash cloth and cup. |

| Either that or just keep the water running but don't fill up the tub. Do like a running water sponge bath. Not very environmental friendly, but hey, I think your child's safety is the most important thing.

| My wife asked me to post the following: We stayed at SSR last year when DD was 8 months. Those tubs are huge and it was too hard for me to bend over. I just ended up getting in with her. It was great for her to play though . . . all that room for toys! The tubs have that textured bottom, so they're not too slippy. It was the depth that got to me. Hope that helps. Oh, also - I had taken an inflatable baby tub but ended up not using it . . . it was too much work to inflate!

| The towel thing is a great idea...I may use that on our next trip!! DS was 9 mo last trip and DH just got in with him. He'll be 20 mo. when we go in October and he's been sitting in just our tub at home for a long time...no seat or anything. He's real good about it and knows he isn't supposed to stand in the tub.

Also, when DD was too little to be in the tub but too big for the little infant tub, we found an inflatable tub. It was sort of a transitional thing. You inflate it and set it right in the tub. We got it at One Step Ahead, I think.

| If you'll have a 2 bedroom, they have a regular sized tub in the other bathroom. Those SSR tubs are huge . . . great when you're trying to relax, not so comfy for giving babies a bath.

| I like the sprinklers idea.... just kidding!! ![]() We found it easiest to just get in the tub at POFQ with our DD when she was 11 weeks old. But the towel thing is a good idea too. ![]()

| My immediate response was: chlorine kills the germs -- go to the pool! (But I like the sprinkler idea even better!) ![]() Seriously, though, the bath towel idea is a good one. When DS was that little DH or I just got in the tub with him, put maybe 1 inch of water in, and kept the water running like pp said. I wouldn't want to do it forever, but on vacation it'll be fine.
