| I am T-minus 24 days & I'm starting to stress about my diaper bag. We have been WOB(without bag) for many years. My oldest are 16 & almost 13 so we haven't been really bringing a bag if I do it's a very small one. So now that we have Zoey who will have just turned 1 year, I am stressing about my diaper bag. Let me first tell you that I have a real sickness when it comes to diaper bags. Okay and strollers too. I finally found a diaper bag I love that doesn't look like a diaper bag, wasn't as much as a mortgage payment & has what I want in a bag. But I'm wondering if it will be good for WDW. It is a Skip Hop Deluxe, btw. I know I need dipes, wipes, a change of clothes, cup/bottle, binkies, sunscreen & her hat. Also camera, phone & possibly video camera but obviously the video camera won't go in the bag. What else? Edited to add: Just so you know the depths of my sickness....I had a Grace MetroLite & a Snugrider frame, a Combi & a Pliko. I sold the MetroLite almost immediately after she was born, sold the frame after we stopped using the infant seat, sold the Combi & bought a Joovy kooper. I just sold the Pliko & bought a Valco Buggster That's 6 strollers in a year! . As for diaper bags. I have a little one in the car, bought one for DH, bought a messenger one- hated that, bought a hobo style at BRU kept that for a while, bought one on Ebay that I use for work (looks like a tote bag) & bought a brown pooh one for $8 that I never used & then bought the Skip Hop.......Sick, I tell you. Sick. I tell my husband it could be so much worse. I could be addicted to Coach bags & then I'd never grow out of that! At least one day we'll be done with diapers & strollers, LOL!

| I would throw in a little bottle of hand sanitzer and maybe some toys to keep her busy if she gets cranky. My DD is 2 so we will be bringing one also. Right now we have a huge one but I want a smaller one that will fit under the stroller in the basket. Other than that I am sure I will find stuff to put in there that you will think of last minute. You will also wind up buying stuff in the parks that you can stuff in there also. |

Looks like it's meant for an umbrella type basket & also comes in black. I'm just worried I won't be able to get all of my stuff in it. | |

| I LIVE by my Land's End Little Tripper diaper bag. ($24.50 and the replace it for free FOREVER!) As far as what is in it when we tour: Diapers, wipes, couple of snacks (usually fruit chews, cherrios, goldfish), sippy cup or bottle of water, hand sanitizer, small tube of diaper cream, extra set of clothes. I used a hip pack (ok, ok it's just a fancy name for a fanny pack) that I bought in the outdoor section at WalMart and that carried my $$, KTTK card, credit card, camera, cell phone and kids $ envelopes. That way we left the diaper bag with the carriage when we on rides and didn't worry about it getting stolen.

| I have a skip hop duo and I have twin boys that are 1, You can chec out my blog in my siggy. I am packing, diapers, wipes, sippys, sun hat, sun screen, lotion, camera, batteries, snack baggie for both boys, the disposable lil huggy mats that you use for changing, I took those when the boys were 8 months old on our last trip to Disney this past April and LOVED them. I have OCD about being clean. Hand sanitizer & extra pairs of socks. We have a Bumbleride Indie in Spice for our stroller and the diaper bag fits great on our Bumbleride |

| I looked at the Skip Hop and liked it but I bought a Kalencom Silver Spoon bag instead View All Kalencom when DD was a baby and now I carry a Petunia Pickle Bottom Petunia Pickle Bottom : Designer Baby Diaper Bags at PoshTots for a smaller toddler diaper bag. I love my bags also. As for what to bring don't forget to pack a small towel and a ziploc baggie for the wet clothes. There are water/spray features in some parks you might want to take advantage of.

| The childress stroll basket and tote-- I have one, well not that exact one, but something basically the same. You are right, it is meant for an umbrella stroller. I love ours, it holds more than what you would think. If you were traveling really light, you could get away with only that. We also carry a bag in addition to the basket tote.

| We always carried a small towel in ours as well. That way when it rained (and it always did) I would just spread the towel over the stroller so she wouldn't have to sit in it wet.

| I looked up the bag you have and it is VERY similar to the bag I have (personalized diaper bag from DisneyStore.com ![]() Here's what we had in ours on our trip: diapers wipes 2 changes of clothes a couple of bibs an extra binky (one was always attached to DS) bottles and liners 2 water bottles small container of applesauce (or whatever fruit I grabbed that morning) a hat ziploc bag with "essentials": powder, lotion, Desitin, baby tylenol, gas drops, hand sanitizer, sunblock plastic diaper disposal bags (which could be used for wet/soiled clothes) The things I needed . . . cameras, ink pens, small note pad, sunglasses, little wallet, etc. were carried in a small sling type day pack, just because we often left the diaper bag in the stroller when we all went on rides and we didn't want to leave anything vcaluable in there.

| I have a skip hop dash deluxe and love it, actually bought it right before our first trip to WDW with ds last december when he was 8 months. It was great for keeping everything organized and hooking to the stroller handle. I loved having the basket free for our sweatshirts and purchases. I am thinking about getting the skip hop via backpack before our next trip in October since ds will be 18 months. I love how they have the changing pad and place for your dipes and wipes separate from the rest of the bag and I can put his change of clothes, sunscreen, snacks etc inside and probably also fit my camera and video camera since they are small. I throw my wallet right in there too. We will take a little bottle cooler type bag for a couple sippy cups of juice and an empty cup in case ds wants milk (we will just buy it at counter service). On the last trip I put a hand full of the little wet ones packets in the bag and used them to wipe surfaces when we were eating or the stroller tray after snacks. |

| That's the main reason I bought it. I researched a ton of diaper bags, and I loved the fact that you can attach that one to the stroller. It leaves you with so much extra room in the basket, plus you don't have to carry it on your shoulder if you didn't want to put it in the basket anyway!

| I know, I love the stroller clips. I am pretty sure that I am going to splurge for the SH backpack. I want something that is easier to throw over the shoulder or back now that ds is a bit older. We don't need all of the pockets for bottles and he doesn't require as much stuff. I like that the backpack zippers unlike the dash and duo and the easy access to the changing supplies. With the dash, I found that I could pack alot into it, sometimes I think I probably made it too heavy by stuffing our cameras in there, but it was nice to only use one bag, when we would put it over our shoulder, even messenger style, it didn't take long to start feeling the weight of the bag, another reason I would like the backpack. |

As far as stocking the diaper bag. a few diapers package of wipes (the themed ones) butt paste diaper duck; with baggies (for the stinkies) sun screen bandaids snacks (fruit snacks, goldfish, cheerios) sippy cup toddler silverware Disposible bib disposible changing pad. Change of clothes in a ziplock bag Then in a smaller bag I put all of our tickets, camera, sunglasses and chapstick. it looks like alot but I just pack the min. amout and refil when I'm back at the hotel. Good luck! |
