Question Age question

I am trying to go on line and price some resorts, i have a party of 6......well of course its not letting me get the value resorts just the suites (i was hoping for 2 connecting rooms) and its not giving me a standard room option for the contemp.....
my question is and i hope i don't get bashed for this but wwyd?
would you put down your child if the child is under 3 and you don't have to pay for him/her for dining or for tickets....
making it a party of 5 instead of 6..........

did i make sense?

The other thing i noticed is if i did leave the baby out, and put the other kids down, i can't lie about their age, (7,6,5) so again i am not getting the quotes i really want.....
i guess i am just better off calling or using my TA that i used last year....
i just LOVE to play with the site to see what comes up.....

sorry for rambling!!
just wondering wwyd?

Personally I think you still need to advise them of the baby--part of it is how many people can be in the room--for fire marshall purposes....and if there is a fire, they need to know how many people and where....not to mention that if they discover you haven't mentioned the baby...they may kick you out--or at the very least make you move so that they are in with code--not something you want to have to worry about on vacation.

That said--a travel agent would probably know best on what you can and can't do. They may even know some tricks and values to make things cheaper without having to be dishonest...

Not going to bash--but why would you want to lie about the other kids ages? THey are all considered kids for disney---good luck and I hope you can find the answers you need.

Your best best is to get quotes based on the actually number of guests in the party If you want connecting rooms you just need to quote each room with the specific guests in each one and when you book request the connecting rooms. Make sense? I know it's fun to play with the website but as a TA myself I've always found my best results are from calling and speaking to the CM's directly so I get all the options available for my clients.

We used a TA (AAA in fact) and it ended up saving us over $500 AFTER we booked our trip! She was able to rebook us in a Family Suite at ASMu AND get us free dining! That dropped our balance that we owe down and we'll have the trip paid off two weeks before we thought!
