| Back at the hotel & the kids are sleeping What do you do? We are staying at Pop Century in one room and I'm wondering what other parents do once they get the kids in bed? Do you go to sleep? Do you keep the lights on and it doesn't bother your kids? Do you take book reading lights?

| We've tried sleeping in the same room as DD (in a hotel) and she won't go to sleep because lights are on, etc. So for our next trip are looking into a 1BRV or WL Jr. Suite so there is a seperate room for us to relax in. If your DH or another adult is coming with you I would take turns walking around or maybe you two could just sit outside the room. If you are bringing a DVD player you could watch one of your movies, have a drink and relax. To bad there isn't a balcony or patio to sit on.

| Our kids always slept whether the lights were on or not. we're not quiet in our house so they were used to us talking. Our soon-to-be 1 yr old sleeps in a crib in our room and we talk and leave a table lamp on & she sleeps. So it was never an issue for us. Hopefully yours will be so worn out that they will pass out & sleep like logs! Ours always did. |

| Ours were so wiped out by the second day they just fell asleep! DH and I left the lights on in the bathroom area and pulled the curtain (we had the bed closest to there) and it was enough light for him to do computer stuff (download the days photos) and for me to do my recap of the day in my PP'r. We would also take turns each night walking over to OPR (We stayed at CBR) and getting drinks for us!! Honestly though, we were tired too so we were not far behind them falling asleep.

| We usually all go to bed at the same time after watching a little TV to wind down after the hectic day. If I'm not tired I will often take my shower after the kids are asleep or sit on the balcony and read. My kids are used to sleeping with noise and lights, so I don't worry too much about disturbing them once I get them to sleep.

| I was worried about this same thing ... that's why I booked a Family Suite at ASMu ... DS naps between 1p-3p and he goes to bed between 6:30 and 7:30 ... and I didn't want to have to sit in the dark and stare at the wall while he napped or slept!

| Thanks everyone. I think we are going to get a couple of book lights -- we are both avid readers. I figure the Girls will be so tired it is not going to make a whole lot of difference, but I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone says. I figure I will be so pooped myself that I will be ready to go to sleep.

| My kids are usually so tired, they just fall asleep with the lights on! Actually, we're usually not to far behind them, as we're usually up until 11 PM or later, and up at 7 AM!

| We all go to bed at the same time - we're usually up by 5:30-6:00AM so we're in bed by 8PM. We sleep in a couple of mornings after Wishes and Illuminations but we don't usually stay in the parks past 7PM or so.
