| Tea Party w/ Princess Aurora Can anyone tell me their experiences at this tea party. Good or Bad. Any suggestions of things we should or shouldn't do with this tea party? Thank you! |

| We did this last year with DD then 5 1/2 (just Mom and DD, not dad) and she loved it. The girls are welcomed with a small rose petal ceremony and there is a program of events if you will. There is a doll at each place, and each girl gets a crown. There was one boy and they gave him something different - like a knight I think. Most of the children were 4 - 7 even though it says 3 - 12 I think a girl older than 7 or 8 might think it was too childish, and it goes above the heads of the kids that were 4 or under. The food is ok, you are really there for the events and the doll. Aurora comes out near the end and does visit with each table. The room is very nice, set like a proper tea party. Each table can hold 6 I think, so you might be seated with another group. The actors who do the story and emcee the event are quite good. You get small tea sandwiches and grapes and crackers for the adults and real tea. The kids get apple juice in the tea and some small ham sandwhiches, and there might have been peanut butter too, I just don't recall. There is cake served after. When the program is done the girls parade around the GF and up to the store on the second floor to get a certificate for their doll, and of course you can buy other things there too. Is it worth it? Depends on your sense of value and what you want to get out of it. Based on the doll and the food, probably not, but based on the experience for an age appropriate girl, I think so. |

| I didn't do it, but we stayed at the Grand Floridian and I saw it twice. It was so cute, and there was a lot of singing. Everyone, including the parents, looked pleased, so I'd say give it a try. Happy planning!

| We did it when my daughter was 5 and we both loved it! She also received a small charm bracelet as well as the doll and another small gift (I can't remember what this was). We were seated at a table just for the two of us and it was a great mother/daughter tea party. I didn't tell her ahead of time that she would be getting a doll and she was thrilled when she found out it was hers to keep. It was an expensive event but worth it in my opinion.
