When we did it it was just clean brushed hair and nails(no polish). She will have a blast. It was one of my DD's fav things that trip and judging by everyone else's reactions they loved it too!
i'm interested in this as well, it's one of the activities planned for all 3 of us i hope you don't mind me asking a question...does it look stupid if you don't get pirate costumes? I was thinking we would wear black and i'd wear my pirates of the caribbean shirt!
I just bought my Ds a pirates t-shirt vs the costume. I saw others with just regular clothes and it looked fine.
The CMs were great! Joking with Ds and the other CMs. We LOVED it!
There's a Pirate Parade late afternoon that's worth coming back for. They march and sing and get jewels. Then there's a group photo and they go watch the Pirate Tutorial.
If you buy the photo taken during the make up session you can get all the photos added to your photopass.
And the shots the photopass photographer takes during the parade and group shot can be added to your photopass too... just go to the Photopass place at the front of the park.
Thanks for asking the question! We are doing this in March. What is the cost of the pictures? or are they just photopass pictures? Ihave pre-ordered the cd.
We did Pirates League today. It was awesome! Dd did it with 2 friends ages 4&6. I'm not sure which one liked it the most. I got dd the pirate dress. The dress came with a pirate hat. Pirates league for girls comes with bandana, necklace, eye patch, earring, sash, nail polish (get to take home bottle), lip gloss (get to take home), tattoo, blush, eye shadow, glitter, and rhinestones on the face (get more designs to take home) that all come in a pink pirate pouch. Dd absolutely loved it. I've never done BBB, but the CM spent so much time with her that I think Pirates League may be better. Don't get me wrong, dd looooooves princesses. It was nice to have a change. I had to get the picture. It was $14.95. I would definitely recommend for boys and girls.

Absolutely my DS favorite thing! I put him in a PoC tshirt. And then he just ran with it and had a blast. He did the Jack Sparrow's multiple eye design and he was overwhelmed.
Don't worry if you don't want to buy any costume, because they come out with a sword, kerchief, eyepatch, earring, 'special treat'. And the Pirates sword holder that drapes across their chest.
We are doing this again for DD and nephew on our March trip. Enjoy!!! Make sure you have enough time to ride the ride and then come out and do the Pirate League...so they are in the mood!!!
My DD10 loves Pirate League and has done it twice. She wore her Halloween Pirate Costume both times, but next year I think I will have to buy her a new one because that one is falling apart and too small now.
You don't need to bring a brush/comb. Those instructions were actually for BBB but got added to PL too. I brought a brush both times and the Pirate Stylist never used it. PL is definately worth the cost and is lots of fun for kids and adults.
