Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) Questions

I was wondering is there a limited number of tickets sold for the Mickey's Not-so-Scary Halloween Party nights. Also I was looking at the calendar on Disney's website and is it safe to assume that the days MK closes @ 7 will probably (but not guarenteed) will be the nights they have it. I am just trying to plan my week when I will be there and just really need to know.
Thx Tina

Yes, they limit the tickets sold for the parties. I believe it is around 20,000, which is no where near full park capacity. Usually the only party to sell out is the one held on Halloween, so earlier parties will be less crowded. We were there on Halloween last year and did not find the crowds terrible, they were definitely manageable. The official dates will be released in early May, but those days that have early closings will most likely be the party dates (but things could change!) Just an FYI, in previous years you can get in to the park at 4 PM with your MNSSHP ticket.

Yes, there is a "limited" number of tickets sold, but that number seems to increase every year. The park is not at peak capacity in any case

Thanks for the info. We are going the week of oct 9th and I really hope I can get tickets. My DH and I have gone twice in oct and love this time of year down there. This will be my DD6 1st trip and I just knew we would have to go in Oct and the MNSSHP is really the only reason that I wanted to do Oct again and take her out of school for it. Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday!! We have seen them set up for it in the times we have gone, but never had a reason to pay the money to go to it, till our DD Can't wait!!

You will have a great time! Last year was our first MNSSHP and we had so much fun! The parade was great, and the trick or treating is so much fun. The parties shouldn't be crowded in early October, so I wouldn't worry about not getting tickets. Just keep an eye out, they should be announcing the dates in just a few weeks. Last year I beleive the tickets went on sale around April 29.

I book marked the page for MNSSHP and will check it daily. I was wondering during the party do they have photopass photographers around to take pictures. I read some where on the boards they do.

They do -- and there are special characters out at meet-n-greets (with PhotoPass opportunities) that are only out during the parties!!

And, in years past, they have given discounts on the PhotoPass pics taken during the party.

It is a fun party. I would say to purchase the tickets early and remember that the closer you get to Halloween, the more likely it will be sold out (so decide soon).
