What is the youngest age that you have taken your kids?
My family has been planning to take a trip to Disney in March to span both Spring Breaks. Our trip would include my family, my parents, my older sister's family and my younger (cm) sister. However, I have thrown a little kink in things by getting pregnant. I am due March 4 and our trip is planned for the end of that month. Obviously, if there are any problems with me or the new baby we would cancel our trip. Am I crazy for still planning to go? As long as the baby is healthy and I am healing well, I don't see any reason not to go and spend this time with my family. I will be using a baby wrap to carry the baby and if I fee, like I need to take a break from walking, I will get a wheelchair. So in saying all of this, I am asking: how young have you taken your kids? Keep in mind this won't be the trip of a lifetime or anything like that. We will be going many many times in the years to come. This will also be the only way for my sister to see the new baby in the first few months of his/her life.
I'm not much help, b/c my DS was 5 years old when he went the first time. However, I will say you're going at a time when it shouldn't be unbearably hot... warm, yes, but not hot. I say plan to go, and you can always change your plan if necessary. Let's hope that isn't the case.
We didn't make it to Disney till my kids were 10. But I don't think you're crazy for planning. I would have loved to have taken my children much earlier.

Anastasia made this our most memorable dinner! She even told DS to write her...
My sister and I took my niece to Universal when she was only 5 wks old. I think you have the right attitude - go with the flow and with how you're feeling and don't push yourself too hard. As long as the dr. says all are healthy and ok, might as well introduce the little one to the Happy Place.
I traveled (not to Disney) when my kids were little; eight weeks for DS on a 12 hour road trip to Michigan and 6 weeks for DD to Wiiliamsburg. Little ones are easy for traveling, especially if you are breastfeeding. You really just need diaper changing things and clothing.
We took our son when he was 10 months old. We may have gone sooner but he was a preemie and we really wanted to make sure he was good to travel. It was one of the easiest trips with a *little one* because he wasn't quite mobile yet and he was happy to watch everything go by from his car seat. We also did the trip with my inlaws, brother in and his family, sister in law and her son, so we had lots of extra hands to hold the baby if he needed holding and was getting too heavy for Mommy or Daddy. I'm sure your sister will be happy to have extra snuggles with her niece or nephew if you need a break.
Congrats on the baby!

My reasons for breathing!!! MGM Studios October 2007
We took our daughter at 9 months. I was overprotective since she's my first. I avoided crowded places until she had all her shots at her 6 month checkup.
My DS was 2 months old and my DD was 8 months old. Both trip were great and easy my DS didn't do great on the plane but other then that Disney part was fine~Good Luck and Congrats!
My son was 11 months old, his first time. My step daughter was 3. It was a fun trip. They started the week in a double stroller but beleive it or not they had to be separated by the last day. The 11 month would not leave the 3 yearold alone. Lol my kids have always been the type that can sleep anywhere. They napped in strollers etc.
We took our youngest to WDW at 7mths. The same DS went to Uluru at 5 weeks (from Sydney) and had a short flight to Brisbane (one hour) and a day trip to a theme park at just one month of age!
Babies are very portable and sleep and feed so are easy to keep happy!
I took my DD when she was 6 weeks old and my other DD was 2 1/2. Our trip was in September and my biggest concern was sun exposure (she was too young for sunscreen).
We had a good time and have some great memories (Tigger was at CM, and he kept pulling off her socks).
I carried her in a front carrier most of the time and avoided direct sun. Go and enjoy!
DD's first trip was when she was 2 1/2 but DS's first trip, he was 9 weeks old! To tell the truth, the trip with DS was much "easier" than the trip with potty training 2 1/2 y/o DD 5 years earlier.
I think with taking things easy and getting out of the heat every so often, you should be just fine with baby!
