My husband and I are going to WDW with my step-daughter, my parents and my 21 year old sister. My husband and I married 12-20-08 and were only able to go away for a couple of days for sort of a honeymoon so we are going to be celebrating while we are there. My parents will also be celebrating their 34th wedding anniversary on June 7 (our arrival day). I would love any ideas to help celebrate and make the trip a little more romantic (even with a 9 year old) for both couples without leaving the other 2 out. This is also my husband and my step-daughter's first trip. Any ideas to celebrate that would also be appreciated. Thanks
Congratulations on you wedding! I'm not sure of your price range but maybe a wishes cruise. I've never been on one but I have heard they're very romantic and fun. I know they have a few different packages for the amount of people you want and some of them you could bring food & drinks or have them served.
Also, we took a carriage ride at the Port Orleans Riverside and that was romantic.
Good luck with your planning and have a great time.
Congratulations on your Wedding. Us like you are going on a belated Honeymoon to Disney. A lot of PPers have suggested to us and this could also work for you too, but if you don't want the smoke in your eyes, why not have dinner at one of the restaurants during Wishes where you can view it from either inside or a private deck, maybe try Narcoossee's which was also highly recommended to us. You can also see the Electrical Water Pagent (which for all this time I had no clue was at Disney) and see them both. You could also have dinner at Cinderella's Round Table for it too. Good luck and best of luck planning. Hope you have a magical trip.
