So my wonderful husband Ken, brought up the idea of going to WDW for our 5 year anniversary in October. Well we talked it out and decided that we're going to go. We also mentioned it to our parents and now its turned into a vacation for all of us. Since we are DVC members with my parents it all worked out. I booked Old Key West for the first time. I was able to get a 2 bedroom villa for us and my in laws and then my parents are staying in a 1 bedroom villa!! I'm so excited and I can't wait to go again. More to come as we plan. Has anyone ever gotten in to Le Cellier Steakhouse. We've tried everytime and never gotten in. Any helpful hints?
Congrats on the trip! Have you tried to make an ADR? You most likely won't get in with a walk-up, and if you don't get an ADR near the 180 days out, it's a hard one to get! Keep calling back for cancellations!

Our 180th day is tomorrow. My mom said she is going to work on that reservation for us. My dad is meat and potatos kinda guy so we have to try and keep him happy.
Yay, happy planning and Happy Anniversary! You should be able to snag Le Cellier if you book it right away! Other fabulous Steakhouse type choices are The Yachtsman and Jiko.

Thanks for the info. Good to know about the other place. My husband mentioned Jiko.
For LeCellier just be flexible in your ADR's. If dinner isn't available,go for the lunch.
You gotta call at 180 days on the nose, you'll get something. Good Luck.

10/9 - flight is at 6:30am (more time is disney)

More planning to come!!
That looks like a fabulous lineup!! Kona is my favorite breakfast, yummy!! Enjoy!! If the boys spurlging on some golf you girls should go to one of the spas for a pedicure!!
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Work has me super busy. Just added our flights to our DVC reservation so we can use the Magical Express. I love hearing "Welcome Home" when I call. Nothing else really new at this point. Just started going threw my past vacation pictures. We are doing some remodeling and I want to get everything organized so I can start my scrapbooks. Thank Goodness I kept a journel from every trip. It will so make it easier when putting them together.
Getting super excited for Vacation!! I so need one at this point. I know it's 5 months away. May change a few plans once we get closer to the 90 day mark for booking golf. Ken doesn't want to do 3 days of parks this go around. He wanted a day to do whatever so I said I would see if I could get the golf time for Friday and just tell our parents that what they had that would work with our schedule. My mom keeps bugging me to do Chef Mickey's so maybe I'll surprise her and take her that Friday morning just the 2 of us. She also wants to check out the AofA resort. Then I'd just need to plan something for Saturday since our flight isn't till 5:30pm. Hmmm so many choices, anyone have any good ideas?
Wow early Happy Anniversary to me. Ken bought me a Disney Dooney and Burke bag!! I can't wait to use it on Vacation. Been thinking of what to do for him. I was thinking the Richard Petty Driving Experience. Its just the time frame to get it lined up it hard. Has anyone ever done this?
