Send a wedding invite to Minnie and Mickey!

Before our wedding last May, my husband-to-be and I sent invites to Minnie and Mickey Mouse and the Obamas. A few weeks later (on the same day, oddly enough) we received replies from both!

Here are the addresses if you'd like to try:
Mickey and Minnie Mouse
The Walt Disney Company
500 South Buena Vista Street
Burbank, California 91521

The Honorable Barack Obama and Mrs. Obama
The White House Greetings Office Rm. 39
1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Washington, DC 20500}

That's such a great idea! Too bad I'm already married. Maybe I'll send them a baby announcement.

That is a great idea... I knew about sending it to the White House but not Disney!
Also congratulations on your first anniversary!

I love it. My wife and I had a disney themed wedding and this would have been great to know back then. We looked into renewing Vows at Disney this year for our 16th anniversary, but the cost was out of our reach.

On one of the wedding blogs I read this is a pretty common practice but, lately, brides-to-be have been receiving signed postcards instead of the larger photos with their names on it.

Still cool--don't get me wrong!--just different. We're planning to do the same next summer for our fall wedding.
