Before our wedding last May, my husband-to-be and I sent invites to Minnie and Mickey Mouse and the Obamas. A few weeks later (on the same day, oddly enough) we received replies from both!

I love it. My wife and I had a disney themed wedding and this would have been great to know back then. We looked into renewing Vows at Disney this year for our 16th anniversary, but the cost was out of our reach.
On one of the wedding blogs I read this is a pretty common practice but, lately, brides-to-be have been receiving signed postcards instead of the larger photos with their names on it.
Still cool--don't get me wrong!--just different. We're planning to do the same next summer for our fall wedding.
