| Finding Nemo=New Restaurant? I know that the submarine ride in DL was changed into Finding Nemo. I haven't been on it nor seen it, but my guess is that you still get into the subs and the ride is basically the same, but with a Nemo theme. (If I'm wrong, please let me know.) I don't suffer from claustrophobia, but there are some small places I can't go. Last time I did the sub ride (as a teen), I freaked. It was a quiet freak out (nobody would have guessed I was having a problem), but I vowed never to go on that ride again. But, I want to have the best of both worlds. I really want to see what they've done to the ride. I thought I saw that there was a restaurant with this new update. Am I right? If so, I think my day might be made.

| I don't know about a restaurant, but there is a separate viewing area for those of us who won't/can't go into the submarine. You're supposed to see all the same stuff, but the narrative is slightly different. I'm looking forward to this -- our first time at DL in April! Ali |

| No new restaurant. And the subs are the same subs they used previously, just refurbed, painted etc. You may want to ask if you can be the last person on board so you can sit near the spiral stairs, giving you more breathing room. It is close quarters but I don't notice it because I've got my nose pressed up to the little porthole. And as Ali mentioned, there is always the non-ride viewing room that was designed to give a similar ride experience to those who need handicap accessibility. We have friends that "ride" that way because the husband can't go down the spiral staircase into the sub. He doesn't need a wheelchair, just doesn't do stairs very well. So you will see all kinds of people requesting the "handicap accessible" version of the ride. I've actually seen video of both versions (live and Memorex Have fun!

| I resisted going on this ride last year because of the very long lines. But last month when the wait was only 45 minutes, I decided to take advantage of the "shorter wait" to see what all the hype was about. I had rode the old submarine ride years ago and I was not impressed because everything was too fake. And I too felt a little claustraphobic because of the tight quarters--I didn't like being elbow to elbow with so many people. However, I found Nemo to be more entertaining than the old sub ride. But I still felt a little claustraphobic. So if you don't like tight quarters, I recommend you pass on this ride. Waiting in line for 45 minutes is not worth feeling like you're a sardine in a Disney can--so to speak.

| I'd request the handicapped accessible version. It's very tight quarters. In fact, tighter than I remember. I got to know the lady sitting next to me quite well. Just speak with the CM at the entrance to the ride and explain. They'll show you where to wait.

| Thank you all for posting! It must be the seperate viewing area I saw and not a restaurant (but wouldn't that be a cool idea?). I will be sure to ask for the handicap version of the ride. Thanx again!
