| What are your three not to be missed places to eat? We are heading to DL in June for the first time and I am interested in hearing everyone's ideas. It will be DH, our boys, and myself. The boys can be picky but haven't had problems finding something on the children's menus at WDW.

| Bear in mind, it's only the two of us and we don't have kids, but our top picks were the Napa Rose, Yamabuki and probably Goofy's Kitchen.

| It really does help knowing where people have been happy eating. Don't we have to eat at Blue Bayou? Doesn't sound like it is legal to be at DL and not at least try it. Sounds like somewhere the boys will like. I was shocked yesterday when the boys said they really don't care if we eat with characters! Now if Disney would do a Villains restrauant it would be a whole different story. Princesses aren't high on their lists.

| I enjoyed Blue Bayou when I visited DL for the first time. I went for lunch so I could have the famous Monte Cristo sandwich. It was a good sandwich, though it would have been nice if I'd had someone to share it with - it was huge! I enjoyed the ambiance of BB - overlooking the Pirates ride. I think its a must-do - at least once. |

| If you can swing the hefty prices at Blue bayou I would definitely say it is a must do. Can't beat the atomosphere! We really loved Breakfast in the Park with Minnie. We also really enjoyed Napolini (the counter service option in Naples in DTD). Another place we enjoyed was the Pacific Warf (where you can get the soups & salads in the sourdough bread bowl.

| Our favourite restaurants at DLR are Napa Rose, the Vineyard Room and for sheer fantastic character interaction (if not such fantastic food) Minnie's breakfast in the MK. The combination of character was quite unusual - everything from Minnie and the gang to the Fairy Godmother to Captain Hook, who was particularly entertaining. He made my son "walk the plank" at one point. All in all there were 8 different characters to meet and greet. Joy

| I have heard so much good about Napa Rose, I am surprised only Jay J mentioned it on this thread. Samantha Brown raves about it on Samantha Brown's FAvorite Disney Picks. IT looks like my kind of place, I like V&As and Citricos and California Grill. Any one have any comments?

| Blue Bayou is a must! Carnation Cafe has some delicious food! And you can get real coffee drinks there, too! The last table service restaurant has to be Rainforest Cafe. If you have one locally, though, skip it. For buffeteria service, we love Rancho del Zocalo. The beef taco salad it so delish! Red Rockett's Pizza Port has very good salads and pasta, but the pizza, not so much. French Market has some yummy clam chowder in the bread bowls. A must when waiting for Fantasmic! to start. In DCA we really like Taste Pilot's Grill. Their fries are sooo gooooooood! |
