People like Blue Bayou (in DL) for it's atmosphere, if not it's food - which is good but not outstanding. I prefer counter service at DL. In DCA, I like Wine Country Trattoria and we will be trying Ariel's Grotto next month, which gets good reviews here.

In the resorts, I adore Goofy's Kitchen (DLH) for the fun (and the time-saver of seeing so many characters there rather than waiting in line in the parks). We also enjoyed Hook's Pointe, which is a higher price point. Many speak highly of Storytellers in GC, but more for breakfast (character meal). I've been hit or miss with them for dinner. And Napa Rose is considered high end and worth the money, but it is $$$. I've not been to the Asian place in Paradise Pier, so I can't comment on that. All of the hotels are close by, so ressies can be made for the middle of the day and not take too much time away from your park enjoyment.

Non table service, I like Rancho del Zocollo (or something like that) in Frontierland in DL, Fisherman's Wharf where you can get soup in a bread bowl in DCA and the Corn Dog Castle (boardwalk of DCA) has huge corn dogs that are fabulous!

Hope that helps...

Napa Rose at GCH by far had the best food I had while there. As for buffets, Goofy's Kitchen had a nice variety, but it's pretty pricey. Rancho del Zocalo is our favorite lower priced eatery. And the Plaza Inn - OK breakfast, but great fried chicken dinner

We love DL b/c we can go to local restaurants to save some $ - like IHOP and Denny's. Since we are from a small town, we don't have these restaurants anywhere near us, so it's still 'vacation' food for us

I would agree - the best food we've had was the Napa Rose. We also really enjoyed the Blue Bayou's food.
