Goofy's Kitchen Yes or No??

We have PS for our first night at DL, but I have read mixed reviews about the cost for the character interaction and food quaility. Is it worth doing Dinner?? We have done Ariel's and were not impressed with the food and we also have Minnie's Breakfast planned on our last day. Should I cancel or keep our PS for Goofy's?

We have no children but Goofy's is one of our favorite. Story Tellers at the GC is another. Go for it.

We do Goofy's every time we go. We don't pay that amount for the food - it's average buffet food with limited variety (though there are fun things for the kids and the desserts are great!), we pay for the experience, fun and tradition. But, we always see Mickey, Goofy, Chip and Dale, a couple princesses and a spare character or two (Max, Gepetto, etc).

"Worth it" is a hard thing to define. If you didn't like Ariel's Grotto because of the food, you may not like Goofy's either. I'm a vote for trying it and deciding for yourself. If you end up not liking it, then you know you have Minnie's Breakfast to look forward to at the end of your trip.

The food is OK at best. But your not paying for the food. Try Storyteller's Cafe instead. Food there is real good

We went to Goofy's Kitchen twice during our stay. The second time because we were tired and it was nice to be back in the hotlel. We enjoyed both dinners there. The characters interaction was cool too, they went out of their way for us.
Snow White danced with my small DGD. She was afraid of the male characters and Snow White asked her if she would dance with her. My little DGD couldn't turn her heroine down.

Goofy's used to be one of our favorites, but we've become big fans of Storyteller's Cafe. The food is fantastic, each person in your party can choose from the buffet or regular menu. Characters are only present at breakfast though.

We enjoyed Goofy's as well as Storyteller's. Both have a completely dft. vibe -- where Goofy's is a lot more "high energy" and Storyteller's is a bit more "calm & relaxing."
We enjoyed Storyteller's so much we ate a dinner there (no characters) after having a b'fast there.
Happy feasting!!

I wasn't too impressed with the food at Goofy's Kitchen. I chose to have my birthday dinner there. But birthdays are for cake, right? I did enjoy that!

We had the best character interaction at Goofy's Kitchen. We had a DL cm with us who happened to know some of the characters so we had a lot of attention, craziness and character time. So I'm not sure what regular character interaction is like!

But my philosophy is - give it a try for yourself at least once! You never know, you may just it!

We enjoyed Goofy's Kitchen. We were celebrating my DDs birthday and had great character interaction. We also enjoyed Storyteller's. I see all of the varying remarks, but we didn't have a problem with either and enjoyed ourselves at both places. Try it. You may love it!

We have been twice for breakfast and twice for dinner. We had a great time with great service and amazing face time with the characters compared to what we are used to at the character meals in WDW. The food isn't culinary masterpeices but it wasn't horrible. I does save a ton of time standing in line to get autographs and is a really fun atmosphere.

Well it is set. We're having breakfast at Goofy's on Thanksgiving morning at 8. We always love watching the young ones react to the charactors.
