Goofy's Kitchen is a lot of fun and you don't have to go far. Not gourmet but the food is reasonable and the atmosphere is great to kick off a trip.

Goofy's Kitchen is fun and we also had a lovely meal at Hook's Pointe.

Both of those are great. Hook's Pointe is a bit fancier in atmosphere, but it's a cool setup and a 9 yo should be fine with it (we took both kids as toddlers). You also aren't far from the the other resorts and DTD, so really anything outside of the parks is available to you (and there are lots in DTD).
