| I've not been to Chef Mickey's, but from what I gather, it is very similar. We were just at Goofy's last week (a week ago tonight, in fact), so here's what was there this time: There is a salad buffet, with additional prepared salads (pasta, tomato, etc) and soups. There is a station with traditional buffet food for adults (turkey, carved meats, potatoes, mixed viggies, a few foreign offerings like Asian or Mexican food). There is a station for kids with pizza (including PB&J), nuggets, hot dogs, corn on cob, mac 'n cheese (usually Gooferoni 'n cheese, but not this last trip). There is an incredible dessert station, with selections for everyone (including some holiday stuff this year like apple-spice Jell-O and peppermint Red Velvet cupcakes) and an ice cream machine. So, if that sounds like Mickey's, then they are the same. Staple characters are Goofy, Chip and Dale, Pluto and Minnie (Pluto and Minnie are stationed out front and do not wander the restaurant). There are always 2 or 3 princesses and a few other characters (we've been seeing Gepetto a lot recently). There are more characters here than other character meals, it seems. We only met 4 at Ariel's Grotto and that was just as expensive!

| We tried Goofy's Kitchen on two occasions and had dreadful experiences both times with mediocre food, so-so character interaction and terrible service. Joy

| We went in May '08, and we LOVED our experience there. We had GREAT character interaction (more characters than I have ever seen at ANY Disney character meal), great service, and really good food. :yum: I was also very impressed with the number of offerings available there. We have only been to DLR/DCA once, but whenever we do make it back -- Goofy's will be on our list to visit again. |

| Goofy's Kitchen has items that Chef Mickey's doesn't have, like Worms in Dirt at breakfast. We have breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen every time we go to Disneyland Resort.

| In my experience, no. Goofy's had a much wider variety and definitely more 'fun' things. My kids found much more to eat at Goofy's than at Mickey's
