Club 33-- A Birthday Wish! (Is Tink Listening?)

Okay, I know that every now and again Club 33 comes up and we all know how exclusive it is. Last year DH and saw the lobby during the Walk in Walt's Footsteps. Now my DD & I are going for our birthdays. DD turned 24 this year and I'm, well--old enough to be her mother! I'll just be brazen, here, how do you get someone to sponsor you (when you live as far a way as Nebraska) or invite you to be their guest at Club 33?

That would be a meal for the both of us to remember, forever! So, now I've voiced the impossible dream! Instead, we'll eat at Ralph Brennen's and be happy anyway!

First of all, do you know anyone who is "rick enough" to belong to 33? If not, do you know the names of any of the members of 33? Hmmm, so far that is 2 strikes.
That would leave only one option left. Stand next to the 33 door and wait for the next member to come by and ask them if you could join them. For this option, I would suggest that you do not plan on doing any 'sight seeing' at DL for several hours and bring along a chair to sit in.
I know, you are about now asking "Who is this fool that has taken up my time with dribble such as this and still no anwser to MY burning question?" I'm just someone who, like you, would 'kill' for a chance to dine upstairs at 33 just once in my lifetime. You have no idea how many times I have walked past THAT door and wondered "How grand it would be to eat there just once". Consider that I have been going to DL since opening day back in 1955 and NOS opened in 1966.
Good luck in you quest for the answer to your question.

And Maybe...

Pigs will fly! Let's face it, I loved Walt and he wanted everyone to do a kumbayah moment, but no matter where you are, there are those who have and those who have not, and I'm one who has not.

I probably wouldn't know how to act up there anyway! It's a "castle dream". I'd love to "see" Cinderella Suite. I'd love to "see" Walt's apartment! I'd, well I don't know what I'd do if I were ever to have the opportunity to stay there. But, I'm not that lucky! And I'm not complaining! We are blessed as a family and that's much better than luck! We have jobs, have health and have family who truly care about each other! AND I'm taking a vacation with my 24 year old DD! What 24 year old can stand her mom long enough to vacation ALONE with her!!!!

Two days to go! Club 33 or not, we're in the groove and packing to go! IF pixie dust flies and dreams DO come true, then I'll post the pictures!

Well good luck and I hope you enjoy your stay at "The happiest place on earth" and I'll pray that some pixie dust falls on you and you get your wishes. As a Premium Annual Passholder I am able to go to DL 365 days a year and living only 94 miles away, I get the chance of maybe one day that same dust would fall on me. One never knows what lies around the next corner on the highway of life.
