What's Good at Downtown Disney

We are leaving for a business trip on Saturday and will have the opportunity to dine in Downtown Disney at least once. What is a good/nice place to have dinner for a party of 5-9 (not sure how many people will be joining us).

Thanks in advance for all the help!

Our favorite is Tortilla Joe's, but we've had good meals at Ralph Brennan's too. Kinda depends on what you're in the mood for.

Many choices at Downtown Disney and they can probably all accommodate your party - just give 'em a call ahead-of-time.

We love Ralph Brennan and Tortilla Jo, and then there's Rainforest Cafe, House of Blues, Naples Ristorante for Italian food) and a few more.

Check out the list on Deb's site.

Why limit yourself to just Downtown Disney? I would recommend Steakhouse 55 or Hook's Pointe over at the Disneyland Hotel, which is just a short walk from DTD. Napa Rose in the Grand Californian is very expensive but I think it's well worth every cent and this one is next to DTD. However, if you want to stay in the DTD area, all of the places listed above are great as well. One of the greatest things about DLR, as opposed to WDW, is that everything is so close to one another that they are only minutes away. Happy eating where ever you may decide.

We really like the House of Blues...the food is good and not too expensive and it is a fun atmosphere. We also have had great meals at Tortilla Joes and ESPN. Both would be fun. You may also want to check out the Storytellers Cafe in the Grand Californian. They have awesome food!

I vote for Ralph Brennans! It offers better Cajun food than Blue Bayou in DL - plus you can order grown-up drinks if you want! You MUST order beinets for dessert!

I think I've eaten at most, if not all the Downtown Disney restaurants, and my favorite is Jazz Kitchen. The food's great, love the Muffaletta sandwich. Unfortunately, I don't like the service there. . . it's really slow.

Ralph Brennen's gets a favorable review from friends who have gone there. It seems like a good place for a group. (We usually stick to the parks, excepting Goofy's Kitchen). Now, Goofy's Kitchen could be a fun choice....if your group would be up for a fun atmosphere (though not gourmet cuisine).

Unfortunately for those of us out here in DL land, Raglan Road is in WDW's DTD. We don't have one out here, yet. (crossing fingures)

Woops--- didn't realize this was a "disneyland" thread. Was wondering why I had never heard of any of the restaurants mentioned (except rainforest)--- funny. I just hit "new posts" and this came up--- didn't even see that it was DL. Well, I hope you get a Raglan Road, because it is gooooood
